Yo guys!!

Re dd games! If I download the new assassins creed game for eg then can my son play it? On his own xbox account I mean? He has his own xbox one & membership but lives in same house and is on my family membership
I love the idea of DD but will get the disc so he can play it if we can't share dd titles!

Got dr3 via the dd route and awesome just being able to start the game without having to pop in a disc :)

No. He can play it on his account on your Xbox One only.

If you're both in the same house, log into his XB1 and download it there, too. on the 360 as long as both Xboxes were in the same house behind the same internet connection, you could install DD games with your profile on both and then other local xbox accounts could play on them. I only have one XB1 but I think it will work the same way.

No. Once they dropped their DRM the ability to do that went bye bye. I'm almost certai. It's not possible.

Oh man. If this feature no longer works it will suck. My wife doesn't have an Xbox One yet but it is a featured we loved on the 360.

Can someone confirm that digital downloads are licensed to anyone on the original console they are purchased on plus licensed to the original gametag that bought them. I would think it is still the case but you would need to make your 'home' console, in this case, your sons - so anyone can play the games you buy on it. Then your console is like an auxiliary (similar to a friends house), where your gamertag is required to download and play. The big question will be if you can both play simultaneously.

well it could been great but people were crying because of the DRM which was stupid to do in the first place and they took a lot of features away.

Still currently better than the PS4. Wanted to play a game so I downloaded it.. realized I was signed in to my fiance's account... switched accounts... and wouldn't let me play. XBO at least lets other accounts play on the same Xbox One.

I'm pretty sure it will work. The reason is because both consoles are behind a single IP address coming from your home firewall. Give it a try with a DD game if you have one. I'd try it but I don't have a second XB1 yet.

Just login to your friends xbox as your profile and download it again on his console (pretty sure that'll work).

1 limitation only one of you can be logged into that gamer profile at one time though.
