"There's some interesting new details in there:
-'The beta did not contain the final implementation of how Energy weapons work against AI combatants with elemental shields; when the shield is depleted, it explodes, nuking any enemies that happen to be nearby'

- Nightfall strikes now have a time limit (varying by Strike; one example was 13 minutes) so efficiency and settling on a strategy beforehand will be important

- There are over 80 missions and (PVE) activities, and each is substantial in length, challenge, story and reward

- There's so much new content that at one point in development they realised they had more content than progression (something they've subsequently fixed)

There were apparently a few other things revealed to the Edge team visiting Bungie but that they were asked not to reveal; one involves the Hunter class and left the reviewers happy that the class will shape up well. Supers and grenades were also mentioned, and whilst they recharge faster than the beta, it seems we'll be encouraged to recharge them more quickly through aggressive play: an example given was a Warlock exotic chest that lets you hover in the air (sounding a little like Empyrrean Bellicose) where kills whilst hovering will quickly recharge your grenade.
Overall, the impression of the campaign sounds very good - lots to do, and a lot more to find. Sounds very encouraging!"

knew abilities would charge faster in retail and i expect them to be even faster after some feedback from the community.

I see people are getting carried away with that 80 missions/activity comment.

Nightfalls have locked loadout and time limits, lol. The LFGs for these are going to be stupid.

I like the idea of making exotics more synergy dependant.

Yeah. I honestly don't trust Bungie when they say 80 missions. Are they counting each strike/mission at different difficulty levels? I'd be happy to be wrong here but after Destiny, I'm skeptical about their promises.

It is possible but I doubt they are doing that.

If you think about it the number issn't all that high. So there are some reasonable assumptions here as no official numbbers are known...

Patrol missions x10
Instances (defend war sat, drillextractionn, etc) x5
Strikes x10
Raid x1
Nightfall.
Lost Secttors x10
Adventures x10
Exotic Quests x7
Super Quests x6 (maybe 9)
World quests x4

That would leave around 15 story missions.

The problem with the game has always been outgrowing content. There's tons to do in D1, but not really as you quickly outlevel most of the content.

That is paradoxical.

But yeah, I stated that before. Although, tonnes is a large exaggertion.

OK I pre-ordered the digital deluxe version for PC (and I never pre-order). So if it sucks I'm blaming ALL OF YOU! :p

Just reached level 32 and light 155 I think. Game is fun fo sho

Rise of Iron. The final D1 expansion.
I guess it's pointless to buy it now with D2 coming in 3 weeks. I have Taken King now but I only decided to start D1 again because of the D2 talk. I hadn't got far in D1 because of other games always releasing. I really am enjoying D1 more than ever now. Can't wait for D2.

BTW I take it some story missions are not coop?

I seem to remember the entire story being co op but is a good while since I played the story.

And yeah, I wouldn't bother with RoI. Not with D2 around the corner.

Probably low player count right now with D2 on the horizon. I'd bet the majority of those still playing are there to keep their Crucible skills sharp for the next game.

I'll be on PS4 if you're looking for a teammate for D2.

Yeah I think most people are taking a little break before D2. I know I'm hitting my backlog before D2 comes out.

Plus you aren't going to find a lot of players who are still going through the missions and such. I'm sure some are still playing strikes and raids, but that's about it.

I am getting it for X1X.

What should I do with these engrams?

No actually I see there are a lot. But they are never there with me at the bosses.
