I just bought this game last night. It's a beauty, that's for sure. Very talented crew on the art direction.

I'm not well enough into the game to really give any impressions but I'm only in it for the SP campaign with coop.

Got maybe 6 hours in D2 so far. Really loving it on PC. I don't know about the end game stuff yet but I'm taking my time and thoroughly enjoying it.

I'm going to f*** some Vex up in December.

So it releases on what I presume will be the same day or day before season 2...that is just stupid.

I'm waiying to see what it brinngs to the game. If it isn't a vast improvement over D1 DLC (which I doubt) then I'm done with this game.

Perfect time for it to release not stupid... whats stupid is Nov is DRY.
No, it is f***ing stupid. The barebones game will have been out 3 months and then they drop 2 seperate content drops within a couple days of each other.

It's stupid.

Plus, they are now revealing paid DLC before they even detail how they will fix thes*** show end game and stupid duplicate issues.

Bungie haven't learned anything.

Only major issue is the game needs more content.
Them releasing content close together is GREAT.
Its likely fixes to other issues will be throughout the rest of the year.
Maybe not lesser nick picking issues that negative Nancy's are never satisfied about but fixes should be coming.

They've learned how to not give a crap as long as they're still getting people to fork over money. While they obviously learned the basics at MS, working with Activision is a Masterclass. If they somehow managed to crash "Bring your kids to work day" at EA they'll become true masters of the game.

They learned not to give a crap with D1, so this is just more of the same really.

I just hope this is something significant with some more end game in it. Dark Below was pretty terrible and thin on content in D1. Hopefully this one has a lot more endgame in it.

What worries me a little is they say that it will have "new raid content" in it. Not necessarily a new raid.

It is kind of amazing how little I've played yet am almost max level. Honestly I doubt I play 5 hours a week now. Just log in and grab my easy milestones.

You get new irrelevant strikes, though. Plus one 15 min world quest and some new patrlol missions. Nothing in the description implies new end game stuff.

I wil LMAO if there isn't a new raid...or something equivalent to one.

All for a laughably overpriced $25+

If the new expansion screws over vanilla players like they dis with The Taken King, I will never touch another Bungie game.

I'm super worried that what ever fixed they have for the game will be tied directly to the expansion and you'll have to buy it to enjoy any if the real changes. They've done it before

Anyone know any good ways to farm glimmer (other than just playing?). It is funny, I've barely been playing and realized I am completely out of glimmer. Went to buy Cayde's loot maps and found out I'm broke. Need to be able to afford his empty crates!!

Run public’s and patrols.

Just had a few runs in the crucible. Couple questions. Is there only one playlist? I wanna play free for all but I keep getting put in team based games. And, how does balancing work? I'm light level 90 but all the games I've played are filled with players light level 200+.

No free for all and the light levels aren't being used for those matches you are in.

Ok, so watching the DLC trailer again I've noticed something. Osiris is a Warlock but he appears to be using Crown Spliter which is the Titan sword instead of Eternity's Edge. I guess he's special like that.

I can't wait to see what's in store with this DLC. I know some of you guys aren't happy with the game right now and I'm not blind to its problems but its still a really fun game. I just hope Bungie makes some changes soon before more players jump ship. I was reading an article that spoke of a massive drop in the player base. Not good for a game that came out in early September.

But then how are armor and weapons affected if light levels aren't used?

Light levels are more about content gates over anything else. Enemies scale with the player and while a higher light level makes you less squishy that number is really all about letting the player know when they can/should complete certain activities.

Yep, light level doesn't even matter anymore. If anything, the game feels harder now that I am 300+.

Light at least used to matter for iron banner and trials, but even that doesn't matter (so far).

It was fun, but there is only so many times you can do the same few things before they get boring.

The problem with the DLC and The Dawning is they aren't addressing issues. They just flash short lived bandaids in your face. A few weapons, armour sets and 2 hour story doesn't cut it. It needs to add actual meaningful activities...and none of this time based Rally crap.

Problem is you can't fix an end game that barely exists without adding meaningful activities, and they obviously areen't adding that.

Patience fellow Guardian. Let us see if Bungie makes good on their statement that included a laundry list of things to fix and implement going forward. Check back in December with an open mind.

Patience? Been waiting years...and it has gotten worse.

You are kiddin yourself if you think the issues will be fixed in/by December.

Yes, for sure. I do enjoy D2 even if it is different. Very different. What's funny is people griped about D2 just being "Destiny 1.5" but now you look at Reddit and they want everything to be put back exactly like D1 :)

I do think back to D1 and I basically played the game for a couple months then got bored. It wasn't until later expansions where I really got hooked. D2 will probably follow the same path.

The irony here is hilarious.

Not too mention ...ahhh! what's point. Carry on blind people.

I think people need to chill and be a little more patient. The game will change and grow just like the first game did. Asking for things from the first game is not out of line. But I don't want D2 to regress back into D1. So changes will come but they will take some time. I believe Faction Rally returns next week. Bungie has made changes to the token system that sound good and next month we have the first DLC to dive into. This is a time with heavy releases of games coming out so there should be plenty to entertain us while we wait for D2 content to drop.

I have all these EDZ tokens and I've maxed out Devrim Kay's rep but I can't turn them in to him until level 20?
