I was really sad to read that the only way to get that cool looking armor shown in the trailers is through Bright Engrams/Eververse Store.

I'll keep watch for any developments but I'm not getting the dlc right now. Its strange to think that I might be done with Destiny 2 after only 3 months.

To be fair, it is super easy to get bright engrams for free. The campaign alone gives you a bunch.

pravus so i've finished the DLC and honestly, I don't think its worth 20 bucks. That said, it is enjoyable. I do like the story (only 2 hours tops to complete) and I also like the Adventures. The new weapons are good too. But for 20 bucks it seems very light on value and when you find they've locked character progression into it, it cheapens it even more. If you see going for 10 bucks, pick it up then. If you a die hard Destiny player its probably woth picking up as well. But if your only a casual player, wait for a price cut.

Yep, they had to. People are just in "pile on Bungie" mode now since all the drama. People need to lighten up and have a little fun.

Why not just give it to everyone and then people can just wait for the patch or jump in and have some fun.

I'm having fun with the expansion. The campaign was "meh" but I'm loving heroic strikes again. Definitely something that was desperately missing.

How were they desperately missing? They are no different than normal strikes for f*** sake. Yet again it shows strikes are an afterthought.

Yeah. There isn’t really any difference. A few gold bars. The strikes certainly aren’t any harder.

Heroic strikes are a challenge when you get matched with the gamers I get. One guy is Leeroy Jenkins - sprinting past all the enemies only to flub a jumping puzzle and waiting to get rez'd in some impossible to reach point, while player #2 is AFK just moving enough to keep from getting dropped (until they end when he forgets to move and gets dropped anyway)

Gamers are so weird. Why even go afk in strikes?

When do Ikoras meditations reset? I went there just now and there's nothing.

EDIT: Nevermind I'm an idiot. Today's not Tuesday.

So no Faction Rally today because Bungie in typical a' hole fashion were going to hide it (and Iron Banner) behind the DLC paywall. But thanks to all the complainers that Kerosene tries to shutdown Bungie have been forced to reverse that bulls***.

Also, thanks to those complainers the vanilla Raid's Prestige mode will no longer be locked behind the paywall...and Heroic strikes will be available to all.

Keep on bitching people and we may get a good game eventually.

Yep.

Oh! and Heroic Strike modifiers are coming, no ETA, thoujgh.

Oh! and Prometheus Lens will be intentionally made worthless today until Bungie put it through a playtest like they should have before the DLC launched.

Had fun with it over the weekend. Hopefully they don't ruin it to much.

Sorry I can't hear you on the other side of my paywall.

Anybody else try out the Vanguard and Eververse boon tokens for strike gifts? If so, what did you get.

Trying to figure out if all they give are tokens and shaders.

Damn, it would be ok if it were f2p, but what do you actually get for your 60 bucks?

Anyone still play this disaster? I haven't touched it for a few weeks now after getting back into The Division, and couldn't be happier. Bungie can f*** off.

I played a bit over the holiday. The big carrot now is chasing masterwork weapons, but that seems more annoying than anything. Finally got a Nameless Midnight masterwork and it has an ammo boost... one whole bullet more.

I hit about 330 or so and don't really feel like grinding out the last few levels.

Is Division really good again? I reinstalled it but haven't tried yet.

I think I'm just over "grind" games for a bit. Too many other games out there.

Even with as thin as D2 is, I spent over 100 hours on one character so that's still not bad for a "terrible" game.

I'm still playing through the regular story in Division so not sure on the end game content yet. At least looking at recent reviews to the updates it is a lot better. I do have the extra DLC now as well so that should add quite a bit.

I am too. I thought I'd max out all three classes before being done but I only maxed out my Warlock and 289 for my Titan. Haven't started a Hunter yet but last week I put the game down because I had other stuff I wanted to play.

I wouldn't mind getting back into The Division again. Especially if end game has been improved.

After patch 1.8, the Division is much improved. I came back after not playing it for more than a year and am having a great time.
