Detroit: Become Human

I’m a lil sad there’s no collectors edition, I’d be happy if it were just a robot skeleton in a shower tub....

just less graphic than this

You know, something tasteful and classy

I have the game pre-ordered, funny enough I could never get into these types of games before but I gave Until Dawn a chance and really got into it, I know this game isn't exactly like Until Dawn but I am looking forward to giving it a try.

I really liked Until Dawn, but bought it for $20. I'll probably do the same with this game.

Played the demo. I'm 100% in. Can't wait to see how this plays out.

Kinda like it. Simple is better.

So I’m part it’s “kinda bad”?

Anyways, I think it’s a lil lazy but I have a feeling it’s part of not trying to spoil any of the story I’d they showcase any of the characters on the cover. Or maybe that’s the bad guy, and it’s really about his point of view in this world, maybe he’s the “killmonger” or “Lotso Bear” of this universe, seeing as he’s the droid trown away in the trash yard

Got close to 100% on my second try...it's crazy the stuff I missed the first time around, just because of the controls lol, they need getting used to,even on the easy setting...missed the dad, missed the 3rd clue of one of the victims so I went with 2/3...game also looks incredible,jesus...not sure on day 1 but definetly a buy for me.

Will be pre-ordering the digital deluxe version so I can get Heavy Rain. Love that game but haven't played it in over 6 years.

I did get to play a little bit of Beyond Two Souls when I had a PS Now free trial and enjoyed it but never bought it because I had so much other stuff to play. Big fan of Ellen Page too.

Looks like I won't have to buy it.

Beyond: Two Souls will be free in May.

I'm surprised just how much I liked the demo. It felt like I was taking part in some sort of training simulation for hostage/rescue. It was like a teaching tool and I was really immersed in this scenario. I played through twice but got the same ending both times. A disappointing ending where I was able to rescue the hostage but sacrificed the negotiator in the process. That is unacceptable and I'll load the demo up again tonight and try for a different ending.

If this game turns out to be yet another stellar exclusive I will trade in my Xbox for a PS4. No bamboozle.

I would rather watch every Uwe Boll & Tyler Perry movie than suffer through another creation from David Cage.

How long does the demo take to finish? Should I download it so I can criticize it? Soneone help me.

Depends on how thorough you are. If you don't collect all the clues to piece it together it won't last as long. On my first playthrough I rescued the hostage and saved myself. I only did this by gaining the trust of the deviant 100%.

It really depends on how you approach it.
BTW this is has some of the best graphics i've ever seen. Another PS4 must buy.

I tried this. The game isn't really doing much for me, then again I really don't go for these interactive stories. I'd rather just play a game with action then go read a book after. Seems like a lot of frustration and repeating.

Pachter expects it to sell 3 to 4 million.

"Their games are, they appeal to a certain type of gamer, they are very much a more niche style of gameplay, they’re single player only, and we’re in this era now where the single player gamer is on one side, and the multiplayer gamer is on the other."

““I’m actually looking forward to Detroit, it looks like it will be a different kind of game. I think Quantic Dream makes very dark, very thoughtful stories, but if you just want escapism, their games won’t be the best ones to play. So I’m a huge fan, and I think it will do super well, but I don’t think it’s doing 15 million units, or outselling God of War. 3-4 million units sold, which is good for a PS4 exclusive.”

The prediction is a more or less reasonable one. It puts it over Beyond: Two Souls on the PS3, albeit still under Heavy Rain, which ended up selling over 5 million copies across the PS3 and PS4 versions.

I'm getting this game for sure. I love detective stories, and was a big fan of Heavy Rain.

Btw, this is the first PS4 game to push visuals that rival PC games after The Order: 1886.

I just downloaded the demo. Will give it a whirl this week!

I'll be interested in seeing the reviews. It's only a couple weeks away, so I'll probably still be playing God of War. Won't be ready for a new game quite yet.

Metacritic guess? Um, maybe somewhere in the 79 to 83 range.

I enjoy these type of games but the subject matter doesn't interest me at all. Will probably pass on this.
