It’s Official Disney Bought Most Of 21st/20th Century Fox And Hulu

Apparently one of their first jobs might be to cancel X-Men Dark Phoenix which has just finished filming.

But, bawt, butt multiple dimensions, because dr strange and antman... I’d be ok with it but I doubt they would and then we’re getting that “new mutants” tvat looks like it’ll be taking place before Logan

The marvel films have clearly had the no mutants thing going so are they just going to ignore that?

The destruction/assembly of the infinity gauntlet unleashed a wave of energy awakening super powers all over the known universe....but mainly New York City, Earth.

Scrub that..the wormhole opened in the Avengers 3rd act has been leaking quantum energy since 2012 that is causing random mutations.

Also my hope for a post credit scene

Fury: Since the sacrifice of Mr Stark, it's left Shield a little behind the tech curve. As our new consultant I trust you have sufficient drive to empower us should the universe throw more our way than the Earth can handle.

Shadowy figure : You need not worry Director Fury, my team are motivated....i can promise you the things we have in mind....they're pretty fantastic.

Disney is not getting any news affiliated networks as part of the deal.

Comcast actually put in the higher bid of at least $60Billion but it was decided the deal had a bigger risk of falling through.

Dear Disney,

Buy Sony Pictures, Spider-Man needs to go back home...I don’t need to bring up the neglect he’s been through, it’s tough, shakes me up inside.

Thanks,
Kid K.

Sony/Columbia is just too much, after 20th/21st Century Fox. Disney can't get too big too fast....They just need to give them enough dough to bring Spider-Man home for good!

How bout just controlling stake in Sony?

It kinda sucks that they only got them signed to two solo films and the last two avengers movies.

Disagree with that. Lucas ruined Star Wars with the prequels. At least Disney is making entertaining films. I think thier movies have been good.
Prequels destroy the new s*** movies Disney has made and this is a widely shared opinion in SW fan circles.
Bi sexual Lando anyone?
I also don't like monopolies and rather the universe stay separated thus more focus on the heroes.

First time I’m hearing this.

I like some parts of the prequels and I thought RotS was a good movie. As a whole the prequels were no where near the same level as the originals. I think Disney has done a good job bringing this Franchise back. One thing I have learned though is you can’t please everyone.

Then you don't hang in SW fan sites/forums.
Simple google of how Disney f***ed up Star Wars nets many results.

That doesn’t surprise me, the Internet always going to Internet. You can pick just about any big property across entertainment and it’s got a lot of negativity across the Internet. This is why I stay away from that stuff. I’m not one to pick things apart. I like to take things for what they are not what I want it to be when it comes to entertainment. Not saying I don’t have gripes about things just don’t go overboard with it to the point I dislike 80% of what comes out of Hollywood/Gaming/ect...

The question is are you happy with the direction Disney has been taking it?
Obviously I am not but as a SW fan will continue to support the franchise.

BTW....
I enjoy the Prequels with ROS being tied for my 2nd fav SW movie with ROJ.

Comcast is straight up evil. Disney actually tries to make memorable content, and Marvel absolutely owns under Disney. Iron Man was good, but the next several weren't, IMO. The entire MCU got better under them.

Disney kept SW going. They didn't ruin it. I've been a Star Wars fan ever since I can remember, as the original came out when I was 3 years old. I have seen every single movie in the theater on its release, and I can remember them all. The only time I've ever disowned Star Wars was in the early 2000s, actually giving away some of my Star Wars junk because it wasn't for me anymore. Post-Disney Star Wars may have it's issues, but it's actually fun most of the time..... absolutely NOTHING like the prequels, where all three are absolute sh!t sandwiches, minus some decent fight scenes... with s***ty characters.
