EA's Australian Studio Hit By Massive Layoffs

This is happening everywhere. If the video game industry is doing so well, why are hundreds and thousands losing their jobs?

All those great business decisions they've been making...
One or two studios struggling doesn't mean the industry as a whole isn't doing fine.

It is a mobile focused company.

Can't count the Activision lay offs either. They didn't occur due to a bad year, they occurred because Activisions are A-holes.

They can update their resume and go another place. EA needs to be hurt in a major way to put the fear to all companies that think this is the way to treat their customers.

Ageeed. The only thing that they listen to is the bottom line. Still feel for those employees. Never easy to uproot your life and have to start somewhere else.
