On display settings it shows Performance Mode off and there is no quality mode toggle. so wouldn’t that mean quality mode is enabled if performance is off. Because I have noticed a difference in the graphics.
I love people throwing a hissy fit over a free update.
Bought the GOTY Edition for $10 over a year ago and never played it. Maybe in another year they will have the upgrade fixed?
Only problem I’ve had it seems like their is a weird bug with VATS now that I wasn’t experiencing before the update.
Seems the PS+ version is fixed, but you have to re-download. Only seems accessible through the store.
Looks fantastic on my XSX. Very obvious visual and performance upgrades over both the prior FPS boost mode and the X1X patch modes.
To be fair. Start of Decay 2 got a free update which was a massive improvement.
I got the new Enclave power armors, they're great. The Enclave X02 is the highest stat power armor in the game now, and can take multiple mods including a Tesla mod which electrocutes nearby enemies.
It runs far better on Thursday than Wednesday and I paid nothing, so no reason to bitch and moan. Just my personal view. My expectations were low to start.
I don't care for the update per se. What I do care about is that it delayed the long-awaited Fallout London mod.
Yeah the more I’ve played the more I’ve noticed the improvements since the update. I’m pleased with this.
Never said it wasn't better. Improved res will do that. Slight increase to other effects.
But this 10 minute update took a year... and it is disappointing. Has literally zero current gen features outside load times.
Witcher 3 blew this away.
Do you imply the game was/is s***, or the update? If the game, I'm not sure what to say... it's fallout, and by far the best fallout to date, just play 3 and New Vegas and if you think they are better today, you should sell your consoles.
