Official Thread Fargo (TV Series)

I loved Season 1. I couldn't finish Season 2. I'll record and try Season 3. Hopefully, it'll be better for me.

Just finished s03e03

Love this show the cinematography is off the charts here.

This is a true story. This is a story. Story....

Amazing opening to last nights episode. Drawing a lot from The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford train scene, but adds a bit of Fargo to it.

Season 2 is the epitome of a great season.

Better than season 1? About to start episode 2 of season 2 right now. First episode was all sorts of wtf give me more. I can tell it's going to be awesome.

Didn't really keep up with TV shows for years. Ever since Breaking Bad i'm hooked again. Some people are saying Fargo is even better.

In my opinion, yes, better than season one.

I always re-watch the last episode before starting the latest one.

I'm watching episode 7 right now again, and there's this scene where Emmit (sp?) is sitting at the bottom of the stairs on the right, beside the lit christmas tree, and Varga then walks down the stairs on the left, sits the same as Emmit, beside the bear.

Holy f***ing symbolism! Emit is the good christian family man, Varga is the wild beast?

Just feels like this series is really deep in that regard, just really well thought out script and cinematography, brilliant stuff on another level!

I'm sooo freakin happy I'm about to watch another new episode in a few minutes. It's truly a thing where I feel privileged I get to watch something this good.

The newest episode was great. This season getting really good in the 2nd half. It may not be on the level of season 1 or the amazing season 2, it's still good though.

I actually think all three seasons are the best in their own way. They've all been mind blowingly good for me and give me the same anticipation for the new episode.

But this current season to me seems to be representing something more than what we are seeing on the surface and telling us about what's really going on in the world (I think they all did to a degree but this season even more so)

So I'm really intrigued with what's going on, and whether we'll actually have things close out properly or sort of left unsolved for the first time and leaving us to think how there's so much that doesn't make sense in this world.

This season, I think, has much more symbolism, mise-en-scene, juxtaposition, social commentary, etc., than past seasons. There' more under the surface in this season.

The Eastern European thug also wears a bear hood in the latest episode, so Varga is truly partnered with a beast.

Agree, when I said this season is the worst I mean 9.6 instead of a 9.8 or 9.9 for Seasons 1 and 2 (just my opinion of course). It's all amazing and by the end could go down as one of my favorite series ever.

You can see where the bus scene drew it's inspiration from. I may put it as the best single scene in movie history outside of a pure acting scene.
