Nine suspects are being pursued after they launched a coordinated knife attack and killed 50 workers at a northwestern Chinese coal mine, reports Radio Free Asia.

The incident occurred on September 18 in the Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region. The attackers are alleged to be Uyghur separatists.

After overtaking security guards, the attackers killed the workers while they were asleep in bunkhouses at the Sogan colliery in Aksu. Another 50 workers were injured. The suspects are believed to be hiding in a nearby mountain ravine where a manhunt operation is underway.

A large group of 9 separatists coordinated a terrorist stealth attack on the miners of a maze-like mine where communication and counteraction is difficult. I hope this isn't the NRA's idea of making excuses for school shootings.

So are you saying the NRA planned this to prove a point? because otherwise other than your statement this had nothing to do with guns, the NRA or even America at all. unless you're saying we shouldn't report news about tragic mass killings because it didn't happen with a firearm?

everyone forget you saw this, mods please delete, there was no gun involved so this isn't news worthy. i'll make sure to wait and post a story the next time a gun free zone is shot up after someone passes a few background checks so we can call for more laws..

I thought about it, but i posted it because it was some seriously screwed up crap that i hadn't seen on the news anywhere. 50 people were murdered in cold blood and it didn't even make the 10 trying to fill a 2 minute space local news, that's some sad s***.

what's that one saying; one dead person is a tragedy and 1000 is a statistic?
