I got in on the bing deal the other night so I picked up the expansion. So far really good! Anybody else constantly messing with TV settings for this game? The HDR is great but the colors seem muted at times.

FH3 looks great on mine, but some games seem to do that for me on my TV too. Destiny on my PS4 Pro looks really off. I thought it was my tv but most other games look fine.
FH3 looks beautiful on my TV and I don't even have an Xbox S. I can't wait to see what they do with Scorpio power.

I've been enabling dynamic contrast in the blizzard mountain section. Without it the white snow has zero "pop" to it. Odd because the rest of the game looks great with a few adjustments.
But that's a Super Roo...able to jump high buildings and faster than a speeding train!

Maybe. But it looks like gravity and inertia are about to mess up that Super Roo hard. By the time they are done it will be about as quick as a speeding bullet still...it is a video game afterall.
Did you check the setting in game? I noticed that if the HDR brightness is too high, I end up losing detail in the clouds. Must be the same with the Snow.
You have the S, right? Does the dynamic contrast work well with HDR?
Yep I have the slim. In game settings don't change help much.
Dynamic contrast definitely messes things up in the main game, especially with the clouds. It seems less obvious in the blizzard mountain section though, and the trade off seems worth it to put more color in the picture.
Not sure what else to try. I may do the color setting from rtings and see if that helps.
Have you tried full RGB mode? Not all tvs support it, but I enabled it for mine and it looks great.

I get it, but I've got 4WD and nice winter tires on my jeep. I have lived in the CO mountains for 8 years now. I actually splurged for new tires a month ago! I said I was passing all the cars on the highway, right? Well, there was bumper to bumper traffic on the highway into Denver. That odd the main reason it took so long. The 2 mountain passes also had swirling snow and very low visibility. I had to stop 3 times on the trip to de-ice the windshield and wipers.In the rain or in the snow...got the, got the funky flow (if you love spinning tires and huge elevation drops/jumps then you need to get Blizzard Mountain!)

I just upgraded all Festival locations and still have a lot of things to do in the base game. I was thinking that I should hurry up and buy Blizzard Mountain to mix things up. I don’t want to get burned out of this game before I experience snow racing. This game is so packed with content.
My only real complaint about this game is centered on the replay camera angles. Many of the replay cameras are great but there is no TV style reply where I can watch the race that shows the majority of the cars as well as the course. I have to constantly keep switching the camera myself in order to watch the race from the best angles. In a package this good this complaint is a small one.

Spot on Busterman. I have thought about replay angles every time I watch one and realize that none really grab what I would like to see. A zoomable blimp cam would be delicious. Or even incorporating that operable drone into replays would allow users to create some really dynamic videos.
I will 2nd thar emotion. Just seeing a post like this makes me want to go fire it up right now. Massive blizzard incoming!
Is anyone else getting a 43.9 GB patch? I haven't played in a bit but now it seems to be downloading the whole game. I actually have this on physical too. Kind of annoying.
I decided I wanted to remind myself how much difference HDR makes, so I turned it off on my tv.... Wow. The difference is pretty damn massive. I had gotten used to how amazing FH3 looks in HDR, and the reminder was definitely worth the effort.

You are putting out some quality stuff Kerosene, don't be so hard on yourself! I've learned a lot about taking unique photos just from you guys here as well as browsing the Forza website a bit. My biggest problem with pics is that I get to where I am stopping all the time thinking how awesome something just looked. Tough to keep racing when you get the photo bug!
