Right, i could believe its either licensed (Maybe a Bond game) or a comic book. Or another videogame ip.
I dont at all think its a 100% original creation.
Reason why I think/hope its fable is because PG can turn around a brand new open world game with online every 2 years, they can share assets and the engine with Forza Horizon and they're British, so would get the humour.
Yeah its not no story, but its hardly the greatest story ever told. Just make the world fun to explore with lots of loot and crafting and have a few decent cutscenes.
There are two things that make Fable, well, Fable. They are art diection and quirky, somtimes silly British humour. If you nail those, you nail Fable.

I bought the expansion. Was disappointed that it's locked. How many hours do you think it would take the average gamer to unlock the Hot Wheels content in game?
I think locking DLC like this is a mistake. Wish they'd treat it like a separate game.

Once you open the A class and above races the tracks really come alive.

The hotwheels expansion is amazing! I'd kill to play this in VR! Is it just me, or does it actually look better? This. With HDR? 
That default car they give you is twitchy as all heck. Makes for some hilarious moments.
What's fun too is if you play in the cockpit view, you can't look up. So, you're basically hitting that loop and hoping the racing line keeps you on track.

Can't believe i still haven't touched FH3 and when i do i'll have the entire game to play plus this awesome DLC. Going to get to ReCore first. It's going to be a good Summer of gaming!
Are you sure it is locked? Did you drive to HW sign in Byron Bay and initiate the DLC?
I know the Blizzard one was locked for me when it came out. I had to get one of the festival sites to like level 2 or 3, which I hadn't done simply because I hadn't had time to play. After an hour or two of play I had it unlocked no problem. Not sure what the requirement for this one is.
Ugh, I am not sure this track is worth $20 to be honest. Sure, it looks fun as hell, but not sure $20 worth. I think I will wait for it to go on sale. In the mean time I will watch all your clips
To be honest, it is tons of fun, but honestly I see the novelty wearing off pretty quickly. The AI seems to struggle driving the tracks (for example they brake randomly for no reason). It is fun as heck, but will I be playing it more than a few hours? Probably not.
I bet the AI struggles because It's a new way to drive that the Drivatars haven't learned from yet.
When do you think Playground Games started development of the Hot Wheels expansion? I have to believe they've had this one up their sleeves for quite some time given how much work goes into each expansion.
Yeah I'm finding the tuning is a little weird too. Having a final gear set to more top speed and less acceleration seems to be key. If you don't have a car with an upgraded transmission it gets really hard to keep up.
Once I figured that out I started doing a little better. So many of my existing builds/setups just were super slow.
