Forza Motorsport 7

watching the footage at the conference in 4k on mixer... it was the most jaw dropping game i seen this gen, its like a generation leap within the same generation. i wonder how the normal xbox one is gonna handle this

using 4k assets is the biggest thing imo, resolution on its own wouldnt produce this quality
Perfectly fine. It will look like F6 but with dynamic cycles.

Seems trivial, but one of my biggest issues (regarding graphics that is) is that Turn 10 can't seem to get wheels in motion appearance down, where as Polyphony Digital can. Sure, Turn 10's graphics in general are second to none in racers (I mean, s*** look at Forza Vista too...that is pure sex)....but why can't they get the wheels right. See below. The top two screenshots I took in Youtube just now from a 4K feed. The red Ferrari wheels look like the wheels we have had for the past 7 versions. They look plastic, like hubcaps. Not ALL the wheels in the game look that way in motion, but MANY do when I play. The last image has an orange Porsche with deeper dish rims and doesn't have the same plastic hubcap look.

I could be wrong, but I am pretty sure this is not an issue in GT, and I know I am not the only one that thinks this.

It means the championships are not locked and you can do which ever takes your fancy.

The interesting part is the scoring system. Hopefully this means both online and offline have a proper league/season set up.

You don't? :txbconfused:
Give it a try.. I'm sure there will be a demo
The most fun for me is still to race against your friends drivatars (set to agrasive driving).
Once you have raced against drivatars you can go back

I didn't get 6 and bailed out on 5 after I got Black Flag. Have the endurance races changed much? I think I last recall them as basically being ~45 minutes or so, which is nice, but I'd really like to run a full Indy 500 (with a full 33 cars?) and have things like cautions and fuel strategy actually come into play.

You are correct. I've always noticed this. Forza games have always had funky wheels in motion.

Anybody else heard about the new Friction assist? It basically takes away the penalty for driving off track. This will make online racing so much better...

To those of you hoping for for a Rally Cross mode, Project Cars 2 has got your back.:banana::bang::bang:

Those images don't look anything like the footage I've seen in 4k. Looks like a huge loss of detail with whatever capture method you used

The only question is do I buy Forza right away and play it on X1 until Scorpio comes out, or do I force myself to wait?

Damn, I just watched that 10 minute gameplay vid. Looks friggin' stupendous! The image quality is immaculate! I am so happy the finally got around to expressing the vibration. Feels so much more visceral!

It really does look a generation better than FM6. Crazy.

I also like the more realistic color pallet while still keeping a very produced look. Day one!

I hear you! I could feel the vibrations deep down in me as I watched it too!

Oh, wait...
