In my best Cartman...*clears throat*

Oh sh*t, it's going down!! GIF WAAR!! GIF WAR EVERYBODY!! GIF WAAAAAR!!

The end of that video where the rain stops and the sun peaks out, holy fvck. Never seen a combo in a game where its ultra crisp, butter smooth, and detailed like that. Maybe Battlefront PC.

Also, turn 10 is just marvelous from an engineering standpoint, all that weather, reflections, shadows and polygons running at 4k and I don't have a single doubt it'll be 100% locked.

So far have yet to hear one improvment where the the franchise needs it most. Everything has been style with no real substance.

It looks a lot more like the Drive club colour pallette in a way.

I kinda like the exaggerated colours of Forza 6 and FH3, but it's undeniable that this one looks better.

Its stunning.

The animations of the pittstops and entering the cars were pretty schmick, considering how irrelevant they are to the gameplay.

Goodluck to Gran Turismo tomorrow.

As long as they're are improvements im cool with it. Massive graphical upgrade, dynamic lighting and weather and 700 cars with 200 track combinations.

Woe betide any challengers to that level of content.

Game looks wicked! I just wish I could get back into the sim side of racing. Has my mouth watering at what the next Horizon game will look like.

I spend most of my time in rivals mode against friends. It can be really disheartening to put up what I think is a decent time, only to find it is like 10+ seconds off the pace. What I like in the last few versions is tuning is a little more forgiving. I just compete at my level and have fun. Rivals is nice for that because you just race a ghost.

watching the footage at the conference in 4k on mixer... it was the most jaw dropping game i seen this gen, its like a generation leap within the same generation. i wonder how the normal xbox one is gonna handle this

using 4k assets is the biggest thing imo, resolution on its own wouldnt produce this quality

I posted this in another thread, but for those that didn't see it.....good news

This week marks the one-year anniversary since the Xbox Scorpio (now Xbox One X) was revealed at E3 2016. In the past year, Microsoft has regularly teased how powerful this machine would be, but mostly in terms like "six teraflops" and "60Hz rendering." Everyone knows those specs are impressive, but it's tough to quantify how that translates to running games. We're basically just told that the games run well.

In a behind closed doors presentation with Microsoft, we were given a statistic that seems particularly impressive. Forza Motorsport 7 content director John Wendl told us that there's a 30 percent surplus on the GPU, even when running the game at 4K resolution and 60 frames per second. That's surprisingly not-close to the Xbox One X's limits.

The coming months will probably be full of claims like this. Like with PS4 Pro's enhancements, everyone will want to explain how and why their games run better on the new hardware. But, as we collectively find out more and more about Xbox One X, this is another interesting anecdote that sheds just a little more light on what Microsoft's new console is capable of.
