Yeah sadly I can't see people making anything like the books. I imagine something similar to the awful "I Robot" kind of thing.

I'm wholly anticipating it to be very loosely based on the books at best. It's not a series written in a way that lends itself to flashy TV action, of course. I almost think the only way it could really work is if they just focused on Hari Seldon's lifetime, since there's enough written about that and enough background drama in that timeframe that it could really work.
 
I have the books on my list to read. Along with about 100 other damn books.
 
The books are amazing. Azimov is just a sci fi genius. I've read them so long ago I need to re-read them. His stuff is just mind-blowing and still holds up well over all these years.
 
Looks like this is going to be a thing. I finished my re-read of the original trilogy and they still hold up amazingly well.

I still have no idea how they are going to translate this to TV
