Could be interesting to contrast this fully Japanese production with the Americanized Ghost in the Shell production.
Honestly, one detail I'm hoping for in Japan is to not be shy about the violence. In fact, what I'd like to see is a bit a of Dr. Strange type sorcery, but in a much darker film.
I also kind of like that the Alchemy in this story has some general rules and serious consequences; mostly requiring 'Equivalent Exchange' or having to lose something to gain something else. Dr. Strange only teased this idea in the ending which upset Mordo and I wish it could have been explored more.
