And I almost close-captioned the post to illustrate the blatant sarcasm, but I figured you'd recognize that for what it was. I mean, seriously, I love Quantum Break and I don't give a half gallon of fartmist about the GTA series and even I wouldn't claim that QB is anywhere near the level of GTA in anything other than my preferences.
GTA is huge but TRASH in my eyes.
But I hear you.... I think id rather play QB as well as QB isn't trash.
You've always liked anything PS more since the teamxbox days, I mix it up. I use ps4 multiplatform now(have majority since it's launch) but I used xbox 360 before, but that's changing again with scorpio.
Nope I came to TXB because OG XB was my favorite followed by the GC that gen.
360 started as my favorite console then it became a tie and then PS3 steamrolled past it.
XBL>PSN easily but PS3 UI was better than the latter 360 UI
I don't ever remember you being a majority Xbox player on anything, ever, even the majority liked Xbox I remember you arguing against it in the 360 days constantly.
Val, my prediction for you this E3 is huge hype setup for Xbox going in, scorpio avatar already then a huge "meh, not what I hoping for" afterwards and arguing in favor of pro for everything, only pointing out negatives Scorpio/ignoring positives.

I used to argue with people like MW against the PS3 for example.
For example I bought and thoroughly played every Gears(including DLC) except Judgment.
PS3 started soaring ahead on the exclusive front much like today.
I was kool with XB but then start having major issues with kinect and Halo 4 was the cherry on top...when was that released? The following year I left XB due to my disgust of what XB become...very similar to this gen and XBO.
Sadly this is very likely as MS has not touched Sony on the game front.
If Sony shows better games than they win its pretty simple.

Anyone who been following me knows I can be a critical SOB and no company is safe.
I'm not looking for Microsoft to win list wars with Sony in the short term. Just to continue showing signs that they are committed to excellence and innovation again and will put their money where their mouth is. They're one of the few companies in this gaming business that is financially able to take big risks. I'm more interested in a couple big risky projects than a bunch of exclusives they bought off 3rd parties. That's why I'm excited for Crackdown. If Microsoft shows another one of those on the way for 2018 and eventually a pattern of keeping those in the pipeline, I'll be happy.
BL3 and NG exclusive will be enough to be on my good side.
Will it be enough to beat what Sony shows? Probably not but it will make me jump back in...in more than just buying Scorpio.
I know, but even if we prefer one company other we have to give some credit for what they are doing. Even if MS doesn't nail an original Xbox to the T, at least they seem to be improving, focusing on power and hopefully games(kinda doubt)

Not like for like comparisons but I wouldn't expect you to see it any differently. MS used to only really talk about games that were coming out before the next E3, that all changed this gen. CGI trailers announcing games like Crackdown 3 in 2014 that aren't out yet and haven't even shown anything more than a cloud based tech demo yet it's supposed to be the big holiday release this year.
Your examples also don't take into consideration that a couple of those games when announced were also said to be just beginning development, hell one of them was announcing the crowd funding goals to get the game made and another was just to announce a partnership with Kojima after he and Konami split up. As far as FF that's like holding MS responsible for cuphead, they aren't making the game and GT will be there this year and it has barely been a year and a half since it was announced.
I never said Sony isn't guilty of the same thing but most of their big games are announced and released with a 2 year period. I think most of us wish games wouldn't be announced until they are less than a year out but that's just not how any of these companies do things.

The whole higher player base comment is just pure Fanboy and silly. (Well I have to remember who we are taking a about here ) No matter what game you play on either platform or PC, you're never going to have an issue finding a game with a max player count or that's already full.
What's it matter though? Even if it's 10x more on one of them, I never had a problem finding games on the other.
Part of it has 2 do with more friends of mine on PS...heck most of my 360 friends are on PS4 now lol.

I am surprised at how console-war oriented this forum is. I'm not sure why that is. Not that I don't participate, and not that it isn't fun occasionally. I'm just saying, we have an awful lot of console war talk here, for such a small forum.
