Yeah, i bet many hardcore gamers are losing sleep over not being able to play cartoon games on their Xbox. Oh wait, there's Sea of Thieves, Crackdown 3, and Cuphead which all look fantastic. Wish we could do party chat through a phone app as well, sounds amazing.

"I spoke to a developer from Ubisoft working on that game and inquired about the version parity between PS4 Pro and Xbox One X. He told me that Assassin's Creed Origins will be 4K at 30 FPS on both the Xbox One X and PS4 Pro, which I found a little confusing. If the PS4 Pro can handle 4K 30, how is Assassin's Creed Origins utilizing the Xbox One X's additional overhead? It isn't, apparently.

The developer told me that both versions use dynamic resolution scaling to maintain frame rate stability, so more intense scenes might see the 4K resolution drop below momentarily to keep the game running smoothly. He said that the Xbox One X version's resolution would most likely drop below True 4K far less often, and perhaps not at all when compared to the PS4 Pro, but also that the differences would be "imperceptible to the human eye."

So dynamic resolution on both. It'll be interesting to see the differences in the texture quality, shadows, etc. If they are higher on the X, then that will disprove the parity theory.

Who is the person claiming to be speaking to the developer ? Did not see any sources listed .

Trust me, I've got the best sources, tremendous sources, my sources are doing so much winning you'll be tired of it, bigly.

Don't forget that Devs call anything above 1080p "4k" because That's what it upscales to and displays at. If they checkerboard to 1440, then upscale to 4k, they still call it "4k". And they should, really, as you need a 4k tv to utilize it, as long as they do list the actual res.

It's just short hand.

Regardless, those comments don't necessarily mean parity. There is parity in features though, obviously.

I put in my original 16 Candles DVD the other day, in full 4:3 mode. My 4K TV and Xbox One S up-scaled it to 4K. So technically my 16 Candles movie is 4K, right? I mean it looked just like my new Blu-ray 4k UHD movie, John Wick.

I'm pretty sure it's simple to scale 16:9 Candles. Try that with a movie based on a prime number like 101 Dalmations, though, and you'll be S.O.L.

So do I use the yellow video with the red and white audio?

No, anything over 13 needs to connect into the UHF input.

That's perfect. This is my new baby that I will be hooking it up to, as I am going full color:

Bet you were thrilled to hear that. Like i said before though, just because a few devs are in Sony's pocket doesn't mean every game will have parity. Might as well get on board now Val before you get egg on your face.

I saw you trying to get an invite on Gears of War 4 the other night after i went 22-6. I was away from my console, and would have carried you but my back was tired and i needed a break. You wanna get carried in glorious 4K when the time comes? You better step it up and give the One X it's due.

That guy is really annoying and way too upset over gaming. He stated the Xbox one X wont be a $500 value in 12 months, ok, everything drops value and performance. I stopped watching there.
Bragging about the ability to upgrade Pc's like that's a new thing.
