The Xbox Onesie

I got myself a WD 3tb My book on sale at Best Buy for $119 US. I didn'r do any benchmarking, but load times feel faster to me. It was easy to set up and transfer stuff over.

It is really sad though that I needed to add storage space less than 1 year since I bought the console. I don't even have that many games.

Why would anyone do that? X1 supports 2 x 32 TB extern HDDs, that should be enough space for most ppl, no need to upgrade the internal too :)

Not everyone wants a external hanging from their console at all times.

Why would you want to upgrade your internal HDD on a PC? PC supports massive storage as well.

I am around 75% now and have been thinking about which games I am going to delete. I like this idea plus the bonus of faster load times. Thanks for post. Does MS keep an official list of supported drive or ant will do? Have to start watching for sales.

External storage must be 250GB or larger, any brand will do

Mines filled up rather quickly and I know its not going to cut it with all the games coming out over the holiday season.

I won't, nearly all ppl use external HDD for storage.

Lulz. Smart people don't run games off of them, if that were the case the Xbox One wouldn't have come with a internal HDD at all, nor would any PC, they would all come with USB 3.0 drives. AMIRITE? But you can argue that with yourself.

Playing destiny and watching the Monday night football is one of the strongest point of this console.

"Xbox snap tv". My wife didn't know it could do that.

Yeah I had room for one more game, maybe two at the most. With some games going 40gb plus with add-ons, it doesn't take long to fill 500gb.

Not to mention around 100GB is already taken up when you get the console.

So how is everyone enjoying Xbox fitness or dance central? I feel like I want to use the kinect for exercise too.

Dance Central offers a very good and fun work out be it the normal dances or the several workout routines each song has.

Gone for this one.

My Xbox One HD won't survive Christmas.

Having used this for a little while now I can fully recommend it. Might even get a 2nd and run all my games off it and leave the apps and so on on the Xbox HD.

I got my eye on a Seagate 2tb drive or a WD 3tb.... probably the 3tb drive as it's only $20 more.

I'm assuming the drive quality between Seagate and WD are close enough. But if anyone has experience or knows one brand is much better than the other feel free to comment!. In that case, I'll scope out drives from that brand.

Just got a kinect for my 360. My brother has essentially stopped using his consoles just because of life and what not, but I decided to borrow it from him and a bunch of games. Got Fattest Loser, Brave, Kinect Sports 1&2, Rise of Nightmares, Dance Central 3, and Kinect Adventures to go along with kinect games I've downloaded for free like Haunt. I just need one last piece of the puzzle. A kinect adapter for the old 360 which shouldn't be a problem since they're like $8 on sears.com from what I randomly googled. So if anybody knows an even cheaper price, feel free to let me know. Just a heads up too, once everything is connected, I'm pretty much gonna blow this thread up with thoughts on kinect games and whatnot. I wonder what the chances of Gunstringer being made a part of the GWG. I'd love to have it since I'm already aware of the fact that I'm buying all of the DLC it has.

Just needed some quick info, just got a kinect and I'm going to get a adapter for it, but I plan on buying zoom lenses and some kind of mounter for the TV as well. Anybody have good recommendations for those products?

No official zoom lens was made as ms said it would damage the device but I've not seen any proof of that just that they are a tight fit and well scratch the camera when you try to take it off.

Thanks guys, I just saw some zoom lenses and I remember those being talked about on the TXB kinect threads. Thought it might be a good buy but I have a fair amount of room in my small living quarters. I'll probably end up buying a mounter but I was wondering if anybody has any good experience with a specific brand. Although I'll probably end up buying the official MS brand.

Yup it's good news in any way you can see it. It already looked fine to me in 900p, i honestly think i barely see a difference between 900p and 1080p.
