Has Microsoft Corporation (MSFT) Xbox One Finally Outmatched Sony PlayStation 4?

We at Bidness Etc are fans of both Sony Corp'S (ADR) (NYSE:SNE) PlayStation 4 and Microsoft Corp's (NASDAQ:MSFT) Xbox One, but this year we have seen the latter win our hearts more. In the beginning, it was clear that Sony had gamers' interests in mind and the PS4 sold like hot cakes. It has already reached 25 million consoles and counting, so there was no denying that it would go even further. That said, 2015 is the year of the Xbox One. This is the one year Microsoft pushed the Xbox One real hard into our minds and succeeded. Every step considered gamers' preferences and age-old formulas were revived.




. Windows 10 integration is also considered a great bonus. It seems clear that the strides Microsoft has taken make the small upgrades Sony did in terms of firmware updates on the PS4 seem rather small. This is the year of the Xbox One and the underdog has finally delivered its first knockout punch to the reigning champion. There are still more rounds to go but Xbox One has won this round for sure.

Hey, an article saying Xbox is better than PS4. I'm sure this will go well.

Microsoft has been behaving a lot better lately as to revive its image. Now we just need to get that leash on and keep the reigns tight.
 
They might be tripping over their feet to call this one; waaay to early to call anything.

Is it a great time to have an Xbox One? IMO, absof***inglutely. I'd wait and see how the entirety of next year or at least up until next e3, before I say it's made a decent comeback; they're just getting back on their feet from the haymaker that had them staggering for the first year and a half.

Did you buy a PS4 yet? I've missed a lot this summer.

I'm being too literal, I know, but don't knockout punches end fights? Why would you need more than one?
 
Short answer. No. Lol, I'm not even sure it's possible period given world wide markets.
 
The way I look at it is this. MS put out an unfinished product. Probably just so they would have a console out, and were not two years behind the PS4, Even with the unfinished product the X1 is still a great console. That is only getting better as pieces are added, cloud, Dx12, etc.

And the very next sentence says there are still rounds to go. Admittedly, I'm not an expert on boxing, but I do know that the thing about a knockout punch is that it results in, you know, a knockout, which kind of ends the fight.
 
Sure, if you like the games on offer for the Xbox One better than the PS4. I'll just leave this here and walk away.

Certainly no knockout punch landed but the Xbox One's original vision that I too was skeptical about and while scaled down is turning out to be a pretty powerful one.

So Microsoft seems to be announcing a bunch of XBox One bundles right now.

Does anyone know if these are the bundles MS is "going to war with" per say? They just don't seem to be very aggressive to me.
