So the other night, my girlfriend and I got a little tipsy. I was in need of a haircut and I refuse to pay for one, so I asked her to buzz my head. I was looking for a #2 on top and a #0 on the sides, simple enough. Well, I guess we had one too many beers and she accidentally buzzed my top with the #0. We have been dating for close to three years, so I don't think this was on purpose, lol.

Anyway, she immediately felt terrible but I actually like it. I used to have a full head of very curly hair, similar to like a James Franco type thing, but now I am completely bald (for the most part). It feels great, low maintenance, and it saves me even more money. Plus, I have been putting on muscle, so the head accentuates that a bit.

I get that it's a big deal to some people, having a full head of hair, but I actually like this look. In fact, I buzzed it again this morning.

I might die in the winter, but I'll cross that bridge when I get there.

Anyone else like the shaved head feel/look?

I have kept mine shaved, or even bald (close shaved) since I got out of the military. Almost no shampoo, no combs, no mess. I love it.

So legit question: Do you shampoo a bald head?

Yep. I basically had no choice. I was thinning at the top. Eventually, I cut it real short. Too much of a hassle, so I decided to clip it all off. All I have to do now is have my wife shave my head once a week.

It does get cold. I started investing in beanie caps.

Haha, I have. Not sure if it's necessary but I am so used to having a full mane so it's hard to break habit.

When I start losing my hair, I'll just razor this down. I might grow it back a little bit in the next few months, but it really is nice.

I usually shave my head, then let it grow for a couple months and shave it again. Im 39 with near completely silver hair. It makes me look a lot older than I actually am. When I shave it though I look more like my actual age.

Been shaving my head since my 20's. Tried to grow it out when I was 30 and found that I had thinned more than I thought so I just keep shaving. About 2x a week with a triple blade razor. Takes about 5 minutes. No muss no fuss.

yeah, i wash it too.. body soap mostly. Not really much there to soap up LOL

I think eventually I will shave it clean most times.. right now tho, life is busy with kids and such, so I just shave it down.,

Good thing about shaved heads is that it hides the age that hair might show. I'm probably gonna shave my head if I ever have problems with my hair.

I sometimes shave my head...and by sometimes, I mean once in every 2-3 years. My wife prefers me to keep my hair, but I prefer it shaved.

Come to think about about....it's time for me to shave it again since it's been quite some time.

I'm undecided what I'm going to do with my hair 5-10 years from now. I'm only 24 and I already have quite a few grays, and my dad is completely gray so I know my dark hair days are limited. I don't know if I want to try coloring it (is that what guys call it?), shaving it, or just not caring. I already have to get haircuts more often than I used to because when my hair starts to get really long it's noticeable, but when it's short you can't really tell.

I've been shaving my head for over ten years now. Low maintenance for the win.

I actually would prefer a head of gray hair myself. Get a matching beard and it's a pretty sweet look in my opinion. I could be a crazy gold miner every where.

Yup, i've had a shaved head since i was young. My aunt used to do it for me and now i've been doing it myself for the past 20 years probably. I can't stand having longer hair. Long hair is for girls, it looks good on them. I don't go more than 2 weeks without buzzing my head. It feels so good.

Been doing it for nine years, although there was a six-month gap early on when I grew it out again just a little, but went back to shaving it all again.

If my hair someday gets a bald spot, then all is gone be shaved away
