Hey Ash! Whatcha playin' now?! v 3.0!

I'm disappointed the Witcher 1 never made it to consoles. CD Projekt Red should look into doing a remaster of it and release it on all platforms. I have it on PC and it is a great game. Mind you not as good as 2 or 3 but still a fantastic intro to the world/lore.

I enjoyed it quite a bit. My laptop was able to handle it. It can play 2 but not at a decent framerate so far, and I figured I've got it for free on the 360 so I'll just do that.

I went through a 4 year period where I barely played anything due to divorce, raising young kids and having almost no free time. Time period started in 2009 and went until a few months after the Xbox One launch. For me, backwards compat has more value than the average gamer. I'm trying to catch up on some of the best that era has to offer.

So I'm playing State of Decay but have Red Dead and Alan Wake expansion on deck. Never got too far in Bioshock back in the day and have yet to try Borderlands so those are both on my to-do list.

The xbox game pass has all the bioshock games I'm thinking about another play through the first 2.

Still playing Breath of the Wild. I can only get two hours tops in one day of I'm lucky. Which totally sucks for an open world game like this.

Now that I've found an adapter to use my Elite controller on the PS4, I've given Bloodbourne another go. So much better now. Actually making progress.

Tons more Killing Floor 2. The leveling is suuuuuuuper slow after you get to level 20 or so. Trying to get to level 25 on a class I'm sick of is taking forever.

Wife and kids have been out of town a few days, so I got to play.

Finished Lost Odyssey finally. Very nice game. Burned through Catherine afterwards, finished that late last night. Going to start on AC:Unity since I had picked it up for a pittance but it still cost me more than Witcher 2 did, and I kind of want to play the Witcher 2 before 3 and play 3 on Scorpio.

WHERE?! Can you assign the paddles?

Bought it on Amazon. Haven't tried to map controls or tried anything advanced yet. I'll give those a shot this week and let you know.

So far I just plug and played. Didn't do anything special or even update the firmware. Without firmware update, it will occasionally disconnect but I read that firmware update fixes that. Sounds like however you remap on Xbox carries over.

Drawbacks are you have to keep it wired and headset won't work through controller. You'll need a wireless headset for that.

Update: Froz I found this in one of the reviews. A: Yes you can definitely use an Xbox Elite Controller with this converter. I went and bought a new one just for this reason. The back paddles are definitely usable as well. To remap the controls on the controller itself you can use a Windows 10 computer and download the xbox accessories app for it to remap the controls on there. Or you can ask someone you know who owns an Xbox and just hook it up through the USB port and go to accessories on there remap the controls as well. Two options there for your convenience once the controller is programmed it stays that way and works completely the way you remapped your controls. To change it go back to either the two options I described to you enjoy you won't regret it it's awesome!.

For the past month and a half or so, replaying METROID, METROID, and more METROID!!! :) I decided to play the prime trilogy before continuing Mass Effect Amdromeda and got sucked into the Metroid universe once again. From there I played Metroid other m, Zero mission, super Metroid, and now I am working of Metroid fusion. I might play am2r to round things out. I almost forgot how much I love these games.

Think I am going to complete Zelda tonight. It's been nearly four months. I got all the things I wanted (all the shrines, memories, Hylian Shield and Master Sword).

Also playing ARMS and Mario Kart.

I really need to give my other consoles some love.

Just finished The Order 1886. Looks pretty but did not enjoy playing it. Long cut scenes and barely any game play killed it for me.

Still playing Axion Verge and Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom. Gonna start Wonder Boy - The Dragon's Trap and Sonic Generations in a bit.

Most played game this week has been Bloodbourne. So good!
Also nearing the end of Last of Us. Having to take my time since my daughter won't let me finish it without her watching.

On Xbox I'm finally cleaning up that backlog. Wolfenstein is good now. That game gets much better once you fight past the first part of the game.

Started up Quantum Break for the first time today. Almost through the first act. The in game production values are amazing...especially watching the characters faces as they are interacting with each other. It's super sad that this game engine won't be used on Alan Wake 2. Most depressing gaming thought of the week.

Saw The Last Guardian was on sale last week or whatever and figured I'd should finally get around to Ico and Shadow of the Colossus since they were free through PS+. Started Ico this weekend and sorry to anyone who likes the game but yikes is it rough. Not even due to the fact it is a PS2 game it is just generally a sketchy ass game. I can appreciate the minimalist game they are going for but controls, camera, and combat is just not very good. I'm only like an hour into the game and right now trying to decide if I should give up on it or try to trudge through it since it doesn't appear to be that long and I hate not finishing a game.

I can't stop playing Killing Floor 2, loving all the different classes and play styles. Anyone else play here?

Mixing in some Nex Machina in the mean time. Two fun quick games you can just play for 10 or 20 mins.

Deestiny - back on this. Even completed my first Wrath of the Machine raid yesterday. Was far more enjoyable than TTK's Kings Fall.

Project CARS - back on this too. Forgot how much fun the Clio Cup is.

Just finished the remake of Wonder Boy Dragon's Trap in two playthroughs. What an amazing game! Enjoy every minute of it.

Since I got pissed off playing Ico the other night, figured I'd check out some of the old PS1 games I had on my PS3. Checked out Destruction Derby, Jet Moto, and a little of Syphon Filter. Although the controls are wonky as hell, I'd like to play through Syphon Filter series again sometime. Felt good tasering enemies until they burst into flames. Just like old times when I was a young messed up teen.

Still on Horizon: Zero Dawn. Still fun. Still wish the Alloy was more interesting.
