Horizon: Zero Dawn

Which one of ya'll is Jurrel or whatever on PSN. I know they're a TXB person based on shared friends. Forum name must be different. Either way saw them playing this so figured maybe someone in this thread.

I'm playing it, but that's not my name!

Ok, I realized that I could still access Forgotten Wilds with my existing save, I just needed to go to a specific place on the map and talk to someone. Still a little wonky and I've lost some of my perks and equipment. I may just wait for the new game as I definitely need a refresher on which arrow types are supposed to be used against specific types of enemies (you don't want to know how many times I died to the first DLC enemy). As much as I really love games with combat systems like this when I'm playing them, it makes coming back to them later far less intuitive than I'd like.

Well, I remember turning this game off after like an hour or so back when it first came out. It did nothing for me. Boring, bland open world.

I have started the game over with a new save so I could start from scratch. I am much further into the game now than I was and enjoying it. I just beat the Deathbringer which was fun. Really my only complaint is that sometimes you need to travel awhile, and sometimes machines are not very near by to override to ride them. I did a FAST TRAVEL last night because I was like 5000 away from my quest and stopped there. I can't figure out how to call a machine to me either after I did an override. I think I remember it showing me that I can call them to me.

Just finished the game. 9/10 for me. Loved it. Really my biggest issue was so much pop in, and this is on my PS5. Load times were a tad long though I am so used to next gen consoles with fast load times on games that take advantage of the new hardware.

I have Forbidden West downloaded and ready to go!!
