I'm sorry if you think it's just console war stuff... I'm just giving my realistic common sense opinion, and also add facts to back it up
I do think it's funny how others can bring up the PS4/Sony fans in Xbox threads to put them down, and they get no warning. Hell, Xbox fans are allowed to come here to crap on how I feel about PS4 games, or that the Xbox is a better buy... Do you see PS fans do that in Xbox threads?
I see a crazy double standard here, and to think a discussion between consoles is just console war stuff is silly IMO when facts are used.
Remember the "short leash" part?
It's a simple concept: stay on topic, don't get into console warrioring. Not that hard to do, for most people.

Actually, I put the DLC aside for a while. I'm going to save it for later. I got drawn into re-playing Life is Strange and Skyrim instead. LiS because of the prequel, and Skyrim because of the VR version next week.
I'm finding Skyrim surprisingly immersive, even though it's my third time through. I've completed the quests in Riverwood, made my way to the Greybeards, and taken trips to half the major cities by wagon. It's been fun. I wonder what it will all look like in VR.
I bought it but haven't started it yet, I think I'm going to finish AC Origins and Shadow of War first.
You got a bit defensive, me thinks. The poster you responded to didn't make it a war thing, or put down the PS4. He was just commenting on possible actions Sony might take based on if their competition gains steam. You should never think that they should do nothing, imo. We want these companies to push each other. If they don't feel threatened, then they get complacent.
I ordered a 4K HDR TV, it'll arrive the 20th, so I'll wait for that.

That's what happens when can't control yourself and have to own all consoles folks.. Just say no to greatness. Be an Xbox fan. Okay, i probably shouldn't have included that last part but what the hell we are in Sony country here.
I'm only just now seeing the new expansion videos/pics and goddamn, they absolutely nailed the snow effect. I had pretty high expectations comparing it to RotTR and I'd say they easily surpassed that.
I completely forgot this was coming out and bought a crapload of games but I'll definitely be picking up this expansion when I clear a few of them. Downloading the Digital Foundry Patreon 4k/HDR vids right now to get a better look.

I hadn’t played the game in months so I was rusty on the controls but damn if it didn’t seem a whole lot harder than I remembered. Which is great because the challenge it’s bringing. I see there is an Ultra Hard now as well.
But yeah, the new area is simply beautiful to look at. I’m still on the standard ps4 but I do have a 4K tv and it looks great. I think this DLC may force to trade in for a Pro. No point in having the awesome TV if the console can’t use it properly. :-)
This remains my game of year as well. Well, this or Nioh. But I’m leaning toward this.
The way Sony have handled this game is brilliant. They got the hardcore sales earlier in the year selling probably between 3 or 4 million copies and making profit. Then comes the fall season and they have released a great sizable expansion, announced the GOTY edition and lowered the price of the main game to a very attractive price for £20/$25 and the amount of websites I have seen it sold out is crazy. It is really smart though because it is important to leverage the price reduction to get people exposed to the game as this is going to be a BIG franchise for Sony going forward.
And on top of all of that it's an awesome game that's a new IP from a studio that was previously only known for their technical chops but lackluster games. This game has been a win all around and I applaud Sony for allowing GG to try something new.
