I'll admit I was wrong about XenForo.

I've never used it before either, and it seems pretty cool so far.

I like it. But it seems limited in what you can do to the forums. I could be wrong though.

I'd like to see some kind of green indicator showing if a user is online or not and a icon for moderators. It looks basic when you only see an avatar and the username.

I liked it as well. Two thumbs up (two more if you count toes.)

I like the site so far. Wished the avatars would be 200x200 in the threads instead of just in your profile. That doesn't bode we'll for GIFs. I want my old gif as my avatar.

I prefer the avatars stationary. I found the animated gifs distracting and had to turn off avatars completely, so I could read in peace.

Xenforo can be heavily customized, so it's really up to the admin.

I don't think Xenforo is inferior to Vbulletin. In fact, I like it much better than vB. I believe it is also faster in performance. Multi-million dollars operating industrial website like DigitalPoint (one of the biggest webmaster forums on the web) made a jump from Vbulletin to Xenforo not long ago...so that is saying a lot. :D

I'm pretty impressed by it so far, haven't been on any forums that used it before

I don't post on IGN but they are also using Xenforo. If TXB was still getting support from IGN, I believe they would've made the switch too. :)

well just judging from the UI style I like it better than the default although admittedly I haven't used it too much yet. It looks nicer that's for sure.

Many major sites use XenForo. It's made by the old vBulletin guys, who left vBulletin and the team that took over made the monstrosity that is vBulletin 5.
