Images from China and a missing photojournalist, Lu Guang.

Brave dude. We’ll probably never hear from him again, but at least this stuff got out. Not that much will be done about it.

After living in China about 15 years ago, I came back with a much greater appreciation for home.

If I’m not crossing a line, what were you doing there?

You could say the same thing about Julian Assange.

America makes him out to be a terrorist.

No prob, appreciate the respect! Partially school and language, and a little walkabout.

I was there for about a year, 2003-4, living mostly in Beijing.

Agreed. But at least with Assange he remains a public figure, and we know where he is.

I’ll be curious to see how this is handled, considering it’s higher profile. Normally people like that tend to disappear there.

Initially I thought assange was going to be someone who took on the government. Then, he decided to choose sides and his endeavors were politically driven.

A better comparison to Lu would be Snowden.

Yeah, he totes went all Russia. I think he thought they'd bail him out.

I liked his intentions though.

A transparent government scares the polli's. And the stuff he shared, aren't war crimes (fact).

I'd love for legislation to disclose any internationally founded "donations," but realistically, it would be through so many shell companies, it would never happen.
