I'd install it as a 2nd OS and just boot to it when you want.

well dual boot with your SSD well depending on the size you won't need a lot of space and make a folder on your 2nd drive for things you want to install like before but make a single folder for your games you want to try out.

Look into duel booting before you do it don't want you to f*** anything up.

Thanks man really appreciate you help. How are you liking the new oz? I have it installed on my laptop personally I think they should integrate the windows 7 start menu.Windows 10 start menu fells trash to me,You can't get to your control panel quickly like you can with windows 7

what is the preview like? what is new that Desktop-Pro users will like?

oh well I've yet to try it still happy with 7 I'm sure classic shell with work with it so you can get the same old smart menu back like you could with windows 8.

You can install windows 10 preview through windows 7 update can't you? I did it that way. But had no option for clean install for windows 10 preview I Guess I have to download it through Microsoft website to get a clean install right?

no idea Google dual boot windows 10 should get you some results.

Preview is preview not even a beta, install it on a second computer, vm or dual boot. Full release between August and october

At this stage there is no reason Windows 10 will yield better performance than Windows 7 or 8.1, and if it does it's going to be marginal. I have used TP on my Dell Venue 8 Pro for months, and sometimes it's been unstable, with certain services unaccessible. Don't do it to your main computer's main OS partition.

I have it as dual boot on my desktop, i was using it as my main os for awhile so i could wipe and restore my windows 7 installation which got corrupted. I had to change my windows password before i could log into the windows 10 preview but after i did it it works flawlessy and i really like windows 10. i went back to windows 7 but i do boot into the technical preview every now and then now.
