Some bits still hold up very well IMO.
Yeah I think the movie and most the other effects are great, better than many movies today, but the T1000 is just terrible looking to me now.

He has been working with the Raptors since birth so they see him as the alpha male.
My guess is, all else fails so they turn to the 'forgotten' King The T Rex to deal with the Insidious Rex.
HMM sounds a little silly but I can handle it. I think I will check it out.
Maybe but its what they do with animals in zoos anyways. You get one out two people to form a bond with the animals from birth so they can get closer to them while still knowing they could kill them if they let their guard down.
I'm really hoping my T Rex theory is right. They need to redeem it after the s*** in 3.
Looks fookin stupid. I'll watch.
I wonder how they explain it. This seems more like a corporate decision and it'd be funny if they explained the raptors in the movie for that very reason. Let's be honest, which toy is a kid more geared to buy? The giant chicken or the giant reptile? Not feathering a dinosaur for the sake of consistency and continuity with the previous films makes sense.
Ignoring the science for childhood memories is stupid.
Besides, do eagles and vultures look goofy and fluffy because of their feathers?
I'd rather they feather it up, stay on the cutting edge of science, as the first film did, and go do a digital makeover of the first films to make them more accurate.
Today's audience wouldn't understand the feathers. Thus they'd call it stupid and dislike the movie. You can't get too scientifically correct. I remember watching Interstellar andT-rex's are over-rated and over-exposed. There were bigger and badder canivorous dinosaurs than T-rex's. And I wanna see them. With freaking feathers.
