Justice League

There's no accounting for taste. A lot of people liked that horrible Avenger Age of Ultron movie.
But Batman v Superman is awesome, can't wait for JL.:bang:

BvS was a great movie. Wasn't perfect, but it delivered in a ton of ways. JL will be even better, I'm sure of it, just by virtue of having the Flash and Aquaman in it.

Remove Luther and Doomsday and it could have been a good movie. I will say, I don't dislike it as much as I did originally. I've seen it a few more times after. It was a total Justice League set-up movie. Everything before Doomsday was good.

Age of Ultron was also alright in my opinion. Most comic book movies are just alright anymore. The reason it took so long for me to watch BvS is because there are just too damn many of them honestly. I do appreciate them bringing in underused characters like Ant-Man or Dr Strange though.

Ben Affleck talks Joss Whedon’s Justice League involvement
http://www.superherohype.com/news/4...s-whedons-justice-league-involvement#/slide/1

“It’s a little bit unorthodox,” says Affleck of Whedon taking over. “Zack had a family tragedy, and stepped off, which was horrible. For the movie, the best person we could’ve possibly found was Joss. We got really lucky that he stepped in. It’s an interesting product of two directors, both with kind of unique visions, both with really strong takes. I’ve never had that experience before making a movie. I have to say, I really love working with Zack, and I really love the stuff we’ve done with Joss.”

"I’ve never worked on a movie that didn’t do reshoots,”
Affleck added. “’Argo,’ we did reshoots for a week and a half! Four days on ‘Gone Baby Gone!’ This is a really nice time to work in DC. They’re hitting their stride. They’re getting it right. It’s starting to feel like it’s really working.”

Word is WB deemed the first cut too dark and therefore unwatchable

Justice League Is ‘About Hope,’ Ben Affleck Says

Sure, Justice League brings together the major players of the DC Extended Universe in an epic confrontation with Steppenwolf and his invading Parademons, but at its heart, star Ben Affleck says, the film is really about hope.

“This is a step in evolution to bring together all of these characters who have had their origins,” the Batman actor told People, which debuted a new photo from the film (below). “It’s about multilateralism, and it’s about hope and about working together and the kind of conflicts of trying to work together with others. Part of the drama of the movie is the question of whether or not the team is going to come together. It’s very different from the tenor of the last movie and there’s also more room for humor.”

Affleck also expressed a desire for fans to enjoy seeing the iconic heroes come together for the first time in live-action on the big screen. “Wonder Woman is very powerful, Aquaman is very badass — he’s got very strong and stubborn energy,” he said. “Flash is a lot of fun and full of life and Cyborg is just a very smart and independent person. And we have some new vehicles that are really awesome, like the Flying Fox, it’s so big that it can transport the whole League and can carry a Batmobile.”

Reshoots still going? Or it's Aquaman related but some of the stunt women from WW are back filming stuff.

Forbes contributor Scott Mendelson made an optimistic JL box office prediction. Link

"A slightly more realistic optimistic run would be a $170 million debut, a 2.37x multiplier and a 42/58 split (like The Dark Knight Rises and just over Suicide Squad and Man of Steel) for a $403m domestic and $959m worldwide cume. You can do the math a million different ways that are more pessimistic ($135m x 2.7 / .44 = $320m domestic/$728m worldwide) or optimistic ($170m x 2.7x / .44 = $460m domestic and $1 billion worldwide). But barring a fluke in either direction, we’re probably looking at a weekend-to-final multiplier between 2.37 and 2.75x that opening weekend, with the domestic total, thus making up between 44% and 38% of its global total."

His pessimistic prediction is here.

Well that's better than the dreadful live performance of it he did last month
