Killzone news coming ?

Oh I hope it is more like KZ2 or a Mercenary 2. What I would like to see more than those is to play as the Helghan :)
 
Shadowfall fell short. But I could be interested in a new game in the series. GG is gonna nail it eventually.
 
Shadowfall was incredibly disappointing for me, Killzone 2 and 3 were easily two of my favorite exclusive PS3 games. Only Sony franchise I'd have ranked above it last gen was Uncharted. It was the 1 exclusive I was most excited about before launch on both PS4 and X1, and it ended up being the launch game I was most disappointed in.

Well I am very late to the PS party only getting a PS3 in late 2013. The Killzone games was one of the first I tried and fell in love with KZ2. That game is still gorgeous to this day.

3 and shadowfall are just meh.
 
Nope never played multi-player with either one. May give 3 a try tomorrow.

3 had its moments, zero gravity comes to mind :) but the story and gunplay was better imo with KZ2
 
I'm glad it wasn't just me who though Shadowfall was very "meh" compared to KZ2 and 3.
 
I will take a KZ5 any day of the week. Hope that is it.
 
I love the series and enjoyed SF for what it was. I'd imagine either development switched from PS3 to PS4 or being rushed to meet launch. If they take their time I'm sure a sequel would be amazing. Didn't spend much time with SF MP but 3 was awesome, mainly because to toot my own horn, I was great at it. To the point of taking several months off and then coming back and going 20-2 or so in matches.
 
I liked Killzone: SF but i was definitely more of a KZ2 and KZ3 fan. Especially KZ2, that game was so epic. The controls just needed to be better.

Yeah, I agree and thats why I liked 3, it fixed or at least tried to fix some of KZ2's control issues. I got a ps4 almost a year after launch, so kinda missed shadowfall, tried to rent it but the disc didn't work so I never ended up playing it. I'll get whatever KZ game they make next though I'm sure, though to be honest I'm even more interested in what GG's new IP is, what was it code-named? Horizon?
 
KZ2 was my favorite last gen FPS. It's a shame, but I think GG lost their magic over the years.

Killzone 2 (2009) was awesome.

Killzone 3 (2011) was decent but only had a two year development cycle.

Killzone Shadow Fall (2013) was dookie but it was a launch title and had another two year development cycle.

I'll bet Killzone 4 is unveiled before Halo 5 and it looks noticeably better. I'm hoping that it releases Q4 2016 at the earliest.

The Killzone universe is interesting enough. We just need another game as good as Killzone 2 to revive the franchise.
 
I am looking forward to Killzone 5, I assume next year. I personally liked Killzone 3 more than Killzone 2.
