Coke and hookers, you mean. Strippers and hookers would be redundant.

But we don't need talk about "going out."

I'm so sorry to hear about this, Hazard. I feel terrible that you have to go through this . Sending positive energy your way and will be praying for a positive outcome . You will definitely be in my thoughts

I did some research tonight and there are a lot of positive outcomes from lots of people with the same cancer, even at stage 4. Here is One support group that i stumbled upon. The majority of the people have been diagnosed with the same cancer . it's loaded with lots of positive energy and successful recovery stories.. Definitely check it out. https://csn.cancer.org/node/205884

Mom died of Breast Cancer a year ago last Monday. I found out last Wednesday I have colon cancer. Tried to stay positive and hope for the best and now I found out today it has spread to liver so it is Stage IV. Lost right now and just when I thought I seen the worst watching my mom suffer and die now I'm on the same road.:(

I am sorry. Even though I am not religious, I will made a small prayer for you the next time I go to church. I should know as I suffered some medical condition. Not as serious though, but perspective of life do change.

Thats why I do not get angry over small times, life is too short to get upset over small matters or mean people.

If you need any support, just let us know. I see how I can be of any help.

Thanks for the kind words everyone. The way it looks chemo will be first all depends on what Oncologist recommends. I live in Ohio and will be going to the OSU James Cancer
Center. One of the best cancer centers around.
Good luck.

Really sorry to hear about this, Hazard. I work in the medical field so if I can help in any way please let me know. And of course you have the support of all of us here.

This is not a crazy rumor, promise! One of my patients is from Lithuania. He told me his Dad was working in Chernobyl when it melted down. He got out, but ended up with huge tumors in his chest. He said they could be seen bulging out of his skin. The docs told him heavy chemo was his only option, but that he wouldn't make it either way. So the guy said 'f*ck that' and got some book (I don't have the title but there is plenty of info about it out there) about fasting.

He fasted for up to 2 weeks at a time, but fast forward several months and all the tumors are gone. The guy is still alive now, and apparently quite healthy. His son said whenever he feels sick he fasts and gets rid of it. Fasting somehow seems to kick the immune system into overdrive, amongst other things.

Now I'm not recommending you follow the same path necessarily. But it's always good to know there are things you can do to help your body fight it! Even if you do surgery, radiation, etc. We can discuss all other options as well if you are interested.

Please keep us posted.

Saw the Oncologist today and made me feel very positive. Gonna have a PET scan next Wednesday and hopefully that doesn't show any more areas of concern. Then get my port on Friday and start Chemo on May 30. He says he has plenty of patients still alive 5 years down the road from this same Diagnosis including a 87 year old.:)

Ask him if he can put your head on another body.

Sorry to hear about this man. Not much I can say that will make you feel better, but as someone who has knocked on death's door before and defied the odds and come back stronger than ever, I can say one of the greatest attributes to have in that situation is to just be as positive as possible, about everything, and in everything you do. Sounds like you're on the right track. Keep us updated, and godspeed brotha.

I truly believe you didn't pass for the sole reason for you to see Lebron not choke in the finals wearing a Cleveland uniform. :p

Insane how my sports teams started tearing it up after my recovery. OSU won the first playoff, Indians turned it around, Cavs got LeBron back and won the title...

The worm always turns!

Really sorry to hear this, just reading it for the first time now. Sending good vibes your way.

Got Pet scan Wednesday it also might be in some nodes in abdomen which isn't unusual at this Stage. No signs of it anywhere else which I was relieved to hear. Got Purple Power port put in chest today for the chemo I start Tuesday. Sadly the port did not turn me into a Power ranger.:smash:

Is there anything else you can take through the port?

Just to be clear I'm talking about drugs and alcohol, not penises.
