While I was getting the first round I felt fine. Then the day after I felt like crap for a couple days weak and nauseous. Started to feel better and come Sunday had bad chest pains and shoulder pain and was admitted to the hospital to check for blood clots and possible heart problems. Spent 24 hours in the hospital and they didn't find any clots and blood tests where good. I'm feeling better now with just some slight weakness but much better then I was.

Going tomorrow to have a Stress test and Ultrasound on my heart just to make sure it is ok. Then another round of chemo next Tuesday.
Thank you for asking how everything is going.

My sister went three months straight of Monday through Friday chemo. I can't understand how tired she must have felt. She never complained during it. She's a trooper and a fighter.

She sounds like a trooper. I'm a winp lol I don't handle pain and being sick well.

I'm sorry you're going through this. I've never been through chemotherapy but heard many stories, and it sounds really tough. Chest pains and scares about a possible heart problem are no fun either. At least the tests were negative and you're feeling a bit better.

Eh, I don't think that's being a wimp. You've got cancer, and you are undergoing chemotherapy. You're not supposed to be "handling it well." You're supposed to be sad, worried, tired, scared, and whatever else you're feeling.

I get down pretty easy, when I'm faced with major bad news. My first reaction is always to assume I am doomed. It's kind of funny (but really not so funny), how predictable it is. I get to feeling very hopeless. For me, working on my attitude and my spiritual connection are key, but at the same time, not expecting myself to have a "positive attitude" all the time (that's unrealistic and sets people up to feel like failures when they have normal reactions to really hard stuff). I'm not saying that's what you need to do; I got no advice, just support.

Anyhow. I hope you do well. I know it's hard.

You up for E3 at all? Or does that just not matter a whole lot?

Stress test and eco came back and my heart is in good shape.:)

Good news. That's a relief, I'm sure. It helps to have a good heart. In more ways than one, I suppose.

Well, if you want some mindless distraction, it's E3 season, so tune in. You planning on getting a Scorpio?

Is there anything we can do for you? Anything we can get for you? I know we're stuck out here in cyberland, but if there's anything at all we can do, just ask.

No I'm good but thanks for asking. I would like to say I'm getting scorpio but not sure I will have the money.

So sorry to hear this bad news from the bottom of my heart. Been through a heart wrenching time with my mother suffering from Leukemia recently. As others have said, stay positive and never give up. You're in our thoughts and prayers brother. You can do this.

Just found out about his (thanks Plainview). Very sorry to hear about this terrible trouble. I can only hope you can stay positive and don't forget to try and find ways to de-stress, as stress always makes things worse (mentally and physiologically). I don't know if you have a faith, and if so what His plan is for you, but I will pray for you, brother.

Tumor markers dropped from 131 to 41. So heading in the right direction for that.:)
