Excited to share an article I wrote for https://indiewatch.net/

The link is here. It is a fairly long article, so please click the link to see.
UE4 Tutorial – Making of the Snowy scene for Alice Brighton in Unreal Engine 4

I think most of you guys know my writing skills & especially my spellings sucks, but I did my best to write as best as I could, with some help from the editor of course.

I can already see many areas that can be improved but do feel free to critic, & I will do better for my next articles, assuming I am lucky to be asked again.

Interesting stuff and I understand none of it. I'd love to learn how to do this sort of stuff, but I have no patience for the smallest things. I barely do anything with creating custom characters in games when given the choice.

Patience is very important, as there are alot to learn, & I am literally laerning & making the game concurrently. Another important thing is passion.

My advice is if anyone is interested, just download UE4 or Unity. UE4 is free, not sure about Unity & play around following the tutorials, then evaluated if its for you or not. Even for people not interested to release commerical games, knowing some basic of how games are made can make you appreciate the effort to making game more. maybe.

You do not need to even be making game to earn money. There are marketplaces for many game engines, & many people are happy to just sell assets like 3D models, texture, music, codes etc.

That's what I wish I could actually do, but I lack creativity.
