Seeing as Spiderman 2 is already peak Insomniac at their finest , what more could they do? 👀

Also that ending more than teases the third part in my opinion...

Also the devs are teasing the third game already.

Multiverse time ?

 
I’ve been wondering this as well, I haven’t done a lot of the side missions but I wasn’t too excited about the teases at the end of the game. I think part of that is I have a hard time seeing how they top this story.

I guess I hope they go bigger, maybe adding in bigger Marvel characters would be interesting.

Most of the bigger teases are from side quests IMO. It could either be DLC or new enemy in the third part.

Some quest lines that may jump into effect in the third installment

Carnage - this is evident with the Flame boss and the symbiote he stole

Wraith may be an ally in the third installment as seen in the Flame questline

Kraven's brother - Chameleon - still alive and looks to plan revenge on the Spidermen

Delilah from the Spiderbot ending - is a character from the Spiderverse and she looks like a PS1 character further showing that there may be some form of multiple universes at play here?

Doc Ock returning and Norman becoming the super villain Green Goblin from all that has happened since the first game.

I’d love to see characters like Blade or Ghost Rider take a villain spot in the next one. Blade hunting a non-lame version of Morbius and clashing with Spiderman would be cool.

Eliminate MJ gameplay. Have a single Spider-Man, Peter Parker, don’t play as the enemy, make the story simple and humorous, make better use of the existing map instead of expanding it. The current map was barely used during the campaign itself. Better QA testing, less focus on RTX and more focus on rez and performance.
 
This aligns with the Spiderverse animated films , Peter may still play a role but main Spidey will be Miles.

 
Will be more of the same but this time... you can play as a woman!

Venom is more like the in between game like Miles to connect the first and second hence the lower pricing.

Think might also be introducing other heroes and maybe Wolverine will make an appearance too so like X-Men version of Avengers as hinted.
 
At the end you're paying $100 for Spiderman 3 or you wait until 2029 and get it for $60?

Same thing as any game that comes out with a GOTY edition later down the line.

Only thing is the two parts need to be substantially big if they want do that.

$49.99 seems to imply a smaller game than Spidey 2.
