Megaton: Mini NES by nintendo with 30 games $60

Haven't played mine in a while. Was hoping the controllers would be available though but can't find anything on them still wtf? Might just take a chance on a third party as I could make use of it in a couple weeks.

I got mine over the weekend and played it quite a bit. The nostalgia is off the charts but I've come to realize how bad I've become at challenging games. And games back then were far more challenging than the soft stuff we get fed today. Just as well I guess for me. Some of those games are ridiculously difficult.

Simon's Quest is merciless.

Biggest WTF moment in gaming in a while.

"Hey! We can't keep these on the shelf, people are annoyed with us for under-supplying the hardware... Let's just stop making them!"

Was there some factory issue or something? Ridiculous.

Im telling you if you have an xbox one you can play every nes snes gen gba for free.

It blows my mind no one is on this already.

Just a heads up. GameStop stores in the Midwest and east coast just got a huge shipment of NES classics and probably the last time. I suggest give a call to one of your GameStop in the area and ask them to hold one for you.

I thought you can't get emulators via the store anymore? I recalled MS released a statement that they will delist them.

Yes but im talking about it can be done on xbox one. I alteady know it can be done on pc and phones. But to play it on ypur console with your controller is big.
The last emulator to be made for the Xbox One was removed for copywrite.

It just occurred to me that with the Switch doing so well, they may have just decided to make sure demand existed for old games they can sell to people again.

Arrogant Nintendo is really awful Nintendo.

They were at their best with Iwata and the humbling they got with the Wii U. So many good games and such calm directs, now we are going back to "Wii Music" and super arrogant behavior. This will be expensive...

Raspberry Pi 3: We can rebuild him, cheaper, faster, more efficient, cuter...

I by now really am getting a bit tired of Nintendo and their nickle and diming, heck even more so with their fanboys that defend it and even are grateful for that 1 month rent game they'll get for paid online that only works via Google and IOS devices (which I don't want!).

Hahahaha that tells YOU how much you know. The removed the app but the person made a html 5 emulator that works with an xbox one controller.

You just need One Drive and Edge on your xbox and load the roms.

I just did this a few weeks back and it works like a charm.

From a convenience, speed, UI, and just general overall quality playing an emulator on X1 wouldn't even be close to the NES Classic but the Classic wouldn't be the #1 way to play emulated games either.

Built me one last year. Costs me like $30. I brought it to my friend's house and he instantly loves it so much and offered me $40 for it. I took it since I already have a PSP handheld system that does it. I'm in the process of building a mini arcade raspberry Pi. Something like this below. It should be done by next month.

NEAT! You could probably sell those quite well, those casings I mean. as they are some good looking casings :). I'm thinking of doing something similar but then making it in a controller sized Arcade board you can place on your lap, With the other USB ports sticking out to the side :). Just connect to your TV, plug the second controller in for Multiplayer and GO GO GO! :D

Depending on what games they offer for a SNES mini, it could sell even better than the NES Mini. Which in nintendo's case means I'll never be able to purchase one.

No doubt the price will be higher and the USB port will be gone

If it comes out this year that just makes them ending the NES Classic even more baffling. If it was just about it being hacked they could have removed the port.

That's unfortunate but it doesn't surprise me. Nintendo isn't in it for the money. I'm convinced of that. They just do what they want when they want. I'm sure they'll release an SNES classic as well and piss everyone off even more when they discontinue it.
