Mobile media player with a blacklist option?

I have certain albums, playlists and audio files that I wish to exclude when listening to audio. For example, I'm in a relaxed social setting, playing some music on my phone, I don't want brash, offensive gangsta rap. Or my phone is on the speakers at a bar or a party, then my audio lessons for learning Chinese suddenly come on.

I don't want to have to create a playlist of everything else, I just want to exclude a few files at certain times. Do any players have this function?

I constantly run into this problem when using the default factory media players on my phone.

Here's what you do, you include everything into a playlist, and take out the items you don't want from said playlist.

Sure, but I just want to do it in fewer steps, and sometimes on the fly because it's not always a planned situation. The tracks I want to exclude change depending on the occasion.

Sure, but it also depends on how well everything is categorized I think. I can't say I'm really aware of anything like that.

You should make an app for that and then sell it to Facebook.

True, but I don't think it needs a whole app, it just needs to be a standard function in media players, mobile or otherwise. It's absence seems like a camera app in 2014 not having pinch to zoom.
I just want to be browsing my player, and then see an album/song/playlist/artist, then tap+hold until the option comes up to "blacklist until player is re-opened."

I kind of think it will one day be a standard function in media players. One day, in the future when you use this function on your phone or whatever, remember ol' Li Tan on UVGF crying out for it.

It sounds like you want an upside down playlist whereby rather than selecting the music you want to include, you select the music you want to exclude. This must exist somewhere.
