Don't really care about Sonya, but I like how Skarlet looks minus the aviator head gear and her moves are sick.

I never had her DLC in MK9 but so far I'm most hyped for her. Short hair version best version.
Anyone worried about shorter combos should watch this. He sets the AI to very hard and she hits 8 hit combos pretty regularly, being that they've taken the combo breakers out I think 8 hits is more than fine lol. Plus if you watch the pro players one of them was doing something like 11 hit combos with Sonya.

on the 30th and when they announced that at the reveal event a character ran across the screen really fast so they'll be showing him off that day. I don't know if you saw the characters in the trailer but Liu Kang, Kung Lao, Cassie Cage and Kitana were shown so I'm sure they are in. I'm hoping that Rain, Noob and Shang Tsung make it back in somehow.

Yeah even if he's DLC I'd be fine with it, he's always a highly requested character though and they seem to be focusing on fan favorites in this game according to Ed Boon so hopefully he made the cut. His art work being in the menu is a good sign but sub-zero having a purple shader on one of his outfits and one of Rain's special moves being a modifier in the towers of time could be considered strikes against him being in too.
I'm guessing the issue they're trying to address is uneven dominance especially if people are getting corner comboed almost the entire round. It seems like in MK11 the stages are even wider as well so it takes longer to get pushed against the wall. Think Erron Black with repeated corner command grabs and combos.
I never used the run button either, but I did start to put together corner combos to some extent with Raiden.
What I would like to see is characters able to achieve combos without relying on the corner. It seems to me that instead of Run, these characters have a lot of dynamic moves they can chain together to move around their enemy attacking from all sides, especially Scorpion with his teleport. People need to consider how well Gerus moves about the stage both applying pressure and also able to evade attacks.

Raiden needs some Toasty finishers. Just do what Scorpion is doing,but with lightning.
