Why not just bring over Hellboy? Most of the work on him is done for Injustice?

Or redo do him as the 2019 movie version?

The studio who owns him would have to be ok with him being ripped apart during fatalities, plus he was already a paid DLC character in the last game and NRS tends to not repeat DLC characters back to back.

Todd McFarlane's main hobby is hinting at things. How's that new Spawn movie Todd?

Yeah based on his track record the character may not even be coming to MK11 and he just knows some fighting game somewhere had Spawn at some point, who knows? lol I do know a lot of youtubers keep asking about him being in an NRS game and Ed Boon does tend to try to get DLC characters people request in unless they were DLC in the previous game, I just hope if they are doing guest characters that Michael Myers and Pennywise make it in.

Isn't Spawn is as relevant as S club 7 these days, but I guess every content is good.

Difference is spawn can fight, still looks cool, is a superhero (-ish) and people would prob love having him in games. S-club 7 would fit too, but mostly because people would love seeing their spines ripped apart from their body while raiden pisses down their open neck.

There is supposed to be a new Spawn movie but I'm not sure if that's just all talk or if it's really going to happen at some point. Jamie Foxx is going to play the part, I don't know a whole lot about the character but doesn't Jamie Foxx at 51 seem a bit oldt? Michael Jai White who played him in the first movie is the same age but looks much more believable IMO. We'll see how it goes, if it came down to it I'd rather Pennywise and Michael Myers were in it just to keep up the horror character tradition, we've already had Freddy, Jason, Leather Face, Predator and Alien in the last few MK's.

These people must Never had a dream come true.

If Mortal Kombat 11 involves some kind of Time Travel as suggested by that apparent Elder God by a Hour Glass moving backwards, would it make sense to use Ash Williams as a guest character?

He has already been a time traveling horror character. I don't normally think of him as fitting in a Martial Arts setting, but I didn't think of Leatherface that way either. I could imagine him kind of fighting dirty. He might also make assumptions about the Revenants being some kind of Deadites.

You're a genius.

I'm a bit parted regarding which version of Ash though, or rather what age... I do love the new show and it's probably better than the movies tbh, but he did look like a god damn sexual tyrannosaurus in the old movies. One of few people I'd give my right arm to be.

Might be able to go both ways like we saw with Scorpion in that trailer. I think they're aiming for a 2 Variation system with New and Classic character versions. I could see doing a Modern Older Ash and a Younger Medieval Army of Darkness Ash.

They should contrive someway to have a Ted Raimi NPC in the background that get killed horribly.

He could have a move where the time portal opens and the Oldmobile drops out on top of the other character.

There should also be an Evil / Possessed Ash costume variation for the Mirror Matches.

Was just invited to the Los Angeles reveal event (sometimes tweeting can be good lol) not sure if I'm going to go but it's cool that I got invited.

Live stream that biz

I'm sure it'll be on twitch etc anyway, I'm not even sure I'm going to go but it was cool to get an invite after I only slightly harassed their twitter account about it LOL.

That's what I'm thinking too, then again I HATE traffic and while they haven't sent the address yet they did say what part of LA it's going to be in and it's not an area I'm familiar with. Maybe I'll just take an Uber for the first time lol.

Maybe MK11 as a project gets back to Mortal Kombat's roots a bit. As for Raiden, he quickly drifted as a character into some kind of Earthrealm guardian, but he was originally comparable to THOR who started out just have a lust for combat.

I feel Raiden has been to restrained or trying to be noble. It's time for a Savage Raiden with a more aggressive combat posture.

Consider it's highly likely the storms in Big Trouble in Little China were what probably inspired his character in the first place.

I suppose the weird thing about him is Netherrealm turned him into a Nerfed God because otherwise a God would insta-kill Mortals, but I still think they could up the Lightning Effects and recognize how that started working for THOR.

Gaming Break playing some MK.

I'm really, really hoping they can clean up Raiden's lightning and add gore to his finishers. I want to see lightning finishers that make people explode.

This is something I kept hoping for in MKX; it seems like such an obvious bonus move to me. Make Raiden X-Ray into a Brutality and blow up people with that final big lightning strike.

I'm a longtime fan of this character lol and I'm hopeful he develops well since he is in the first teaser and had bonus development work for Injustice2.

I also hope the major powers are less divided up. I like the extra reach of Thunder God Raiden and often wish that variation could teleport. If they're reducing the variations to 2, I hope that is partly why. I'm sure that might be from both future and past versions in the story as well.

The character models and animations looks bad. I have seen injustice 2, the differences is day and night.
