Probably not an Xbox specific announcement, but:
Weren't they already calling it The Outer Worlds or is that just the codename?

I'm betting it will.Despite the publishing agreement that Obsidian has with Private Division, I'm curoius to see if the game could show up on Gamepass.

Those are some hipstery dudes, lol. Game looks interesting. It definitely falls squarely in AA territory. I hope MS' aquisition allows for more polish in their future games. Those are some dead eyes on the NPCs.They always sound so bored.
It kinda doesn't matter for awhile at least cause there big project is multiplat.
Right better late than never but we likely won't see the fruit of the acquisition for awhile.Yea but I am sure they've been working on this long before the acquisition talks were even thought of.

Why not? Day and date entry into Gamepass would only help create more sales, create more awareness for the game and the developers, it would make a pretty hefty statement about first party RPG's and Microsoft's new forray into that realm. And it just seems right, with Obsidian now being a First party studio. It's not a 1st party MS game so if it doesn't nobody should complain, MS could always pay Take Two for it but I don't really think that'd be a smart use of resources.

There's still time. No telling what kind of deals will be made around this title, but...
I genuinely don't see a downside.

More awareness of this title is always a good thing. It can only increase any sales projections they may have in place. GP is a major boon for games these days. I agree though - TT may not see it the same way. Guess we'll see..Microsoft can say it increases sales and it may be true but that doesn't mean Take Two is going to see it that way.
I really tried to get into wasteland 2 on xbox but my gods it looks horrendous.
They are already getting the game and it's not likely to be more than moderately successful anyway, I just think they'd be better off spending that money on another bigger title from another publisher or putting it towards something else. I'd put it on GP eventually but later down the road when it'll be cheaper to do.
Sure, I'll play diablo 2 today without taking graphics into account, but I'm pretty sure you understand what I mean if you try to play this game on console... on a screen bigger than 46", it really looks atrocious, I mean, it's probably the ugliest game I've played since ps2 era. That’s not a game you play for the graphics. It’s a retro throw back to the original Fallout.

I did play it on a console. 55” HDR 4K. Didn’t bother me in the slightest.
