It’s a very solid game from a new studio. Very impressed so far.

Interesting, might check this out soon. It’s been awhile since I’ve played a strategy RPG.

It’s not really an RPG but it does have RPG elements. I just finished the first mission and it’s got some solid turn based gameplay going on. Outside of the combat it doesn’t use turn based movement so it flows along nicely and gives you good opportunities to setup ambushes.

Played this rpg as a kid, funny making your character mutated and stuff lol
Would gladly play this but heard it's pretty hard, honestly haven't got the attention span for being punished in games anymore, too old and too little time.

There is hardcore mode. But there is also an easy mode. It’s definitely not has tough as Xcom.

So far it’s not that bad difficulty wise. Their normal mode isn’t something you can just coast through but it doesn’t feel impossible either. You can create save points anywhere so part of the fun is creating a save and then just experimenting with what you can get away with.

Yeah I didn’t realize you could create save points at the start. And I wasted my grenades and some other consumables. It’s a nice feature to have the way it gives the choice to replay the combat and try something different.

Played the first level (basically a tutorial) and it is so good! Love the graphics, and moody atmosphere. Fun characters as well. I'm going to spend a lot of time with this one.

Yeah this came out of nowhere for me. I was buying the game pass sub for Ashen and saw this. It’s excellent.

I don’t think it’s a big deal to waste some grenades. Especially early. The ones you get early on seem to be a bit weak. Not sure how much more powerful they get later but not having grenades for most fights so far seems fine.

Anyways seem to have found a routine that keeps working. Ducks crossbow and the girl you add early on with the silencer are the key. I position those two to ambush and pick off loners around the perimeter. The crossbow and silencer each connecting once will finish off a lot of bad guys. If you get them in one turn, they won’t alert anyone. Upgrade those weapons first (I think).

Played on difficulty where no health replenishes after fights. A little annoying since scrap becomes sparse. So buying health packs becomes tough to do. Still enjoying it though.

Yeah I’d say that’s tough going. I’m playing on the one where you get half your health back after each battle and I find that hard going in places.

Another thing, how do you level up your character if you have cleared all the zone areas but are still very unnerving leveled for the main story mission? When I go back into some areas I’ve cleared the enemies haven’t respawned.
