NeoGaf on Life Support, and all Mods quit!

Most of the mods have left, it's a free for all over there. Supposedly there's going to be a "statement" from Evilore, but that has not happened.

So noble of them to only speak out when the s*** hits the fan.
Isn't this evilore guy the same guy who made racist or pedophile statements a year ago?

Yet, only now the mods are fleeing?

Edit: I tried getting into the site. Can't.

I wonder... Is this good for gaming?

That's all I really care about
Good and bad.

Good because that site can be cancer. Some reason it morphed into an anti-MS site, and when something shyts the bed (bad game), any developer targeted gets blasted with a howitzer.

But it's bad, since the place has so many members, all the latest news can basically be found on that site. Also, it has some awesome threads you'd never see anywhere else.... at least not at that amount of posts.

Some cool threads are Genesis/SNES music, that phenomenal thread about game secrets you'd never notice (Super Mario clouds and bushes are the same), NPD stats from insiders etc....

One thing that stunk about the forum is that is was never organized. Everything gets thrown into one forum and you got to flip through pages of stuff. So cumbersome, you'd get guys accidentally posting the same news because he didn't notice something on page 2 or 3 had the same thing.

My mistake, evilore and that old peodophile guy was named amirox were different people. I thought it was the same guy.

I like GAF. Hope they stick around.

we still have Union until #plainview becomes all mighty and crashes and burns :p

The last mod ghaleonEB just left a few minutes ago. GAF is dead. People are looking for a new site to go to. I chance for Union to get a few.

So GAF is dead?

What is happening!?

Every mode is gone? Has to be more to this story than we know.
Evilore the site owner who is accused of sexual assault had a conversation with the mods about the issue. After that most of the mods quit GAF. Eventually all of them left.

So it goes to show he's guilty.

If he spoke to the mods explaining it's untrue, I don't see why all the mods would leave.

All the admins and mods are gone. The site is down or DDOSed. Everyone is believing that the allegations are true. Many hardcore gaffers are calling Evilore a s***bag. It is bad man. Also he was supposed to give a statement which never came. People are assuming he is lawyering up.

Dead.

It'll probably stick around and be a spam infested wasteland, but right now you can't even get into it.

I don't see why anyone would be a new mod there... even if being a mod is under secrecy with a user name.

And I don't see evilore handling it all himself trying to salvage the site.

It should be done by end of year at most.

I believe he was banning, and deleting anything that talked about, or asked questions about him assaulting someone... He could have asked all the Mods to do the same

That would make him look guilty instead of facing the issue head on with an explanation

In b4 we discover CBOAT was full of s***!

At least we won't have to put up with those pretend video game insiders!

Only way it could be salvaged is if he gave up the site to someone else. Certainly he could have sold the site for big money in the past but that ship has sailed.

Maybe we'll get some refugees? Seems like they had some decent posters over there. Of course I like the tight-knit community here much more and hope we keep the roots in tact.
