NeoGaf on Life Support, and all Mods quit!

It's not in bad taste. It's just something that you shouldn't say, if you're in his position. Unless you really are referring to the Yankees, which I don't buy.
What will the Neogaf mods do now without the one unquestioned semblance of power over others they had on the forums? Burning ants with a magnifying glass is my guess.

They ran for the hills and you won't see these guys anymore.... at least under the same moniker.
Of course, they can try being a mod under another user name. But I don't think any game site will touch these guys if they know they were a GAF mod.
No doubt, at least some of these mods knew what a creep Malka is. But they bolted for the hills only because a direct accusation came out. If nothing ever came out, GAF would be running normal right now.
Here's my prediction:
1. Malka will release a formal statement Tues-Weds saying the site is shut down, thank the mods, gamers and such. Done. He needs the weekend and Monday to get a lawyer or PR person to write something for him
2. Malka says nothing and the site is down. But 3-4 weeks from now, a buyer comes through and will relaunch a clean GAF in 2018. He needed 3 weeks of quiet time to spread the news the site is on sale
My bet is #1.

This sucks, even though I couldn’t stand all the Microsoft hate and some of the people it was such an active site and great for anything game related. Hopefully it comes back or something similar..... where are all the members going to go? Any other big gaming sites? I only went to gaf and here.
They certainly all knew about the past incidents. No reason to think they knew about this one though.
Going by what people are saying.... IGN, Gamespot, Reddit, Gamefaqs are probably the main ones. Might be missing a few big name sites.

Read the five piece again. That last part makes it sound like GAF was like the illuminati for the games industry....only really s***ty. Amazing how destiny unfolds though. Every mod could have been accused of this and the site would have endured, but because its Tyler its finished and worthless.

Apparently there is plans from the GAF discord to launch a new site tomorrow called....Reset Era. That's extraordinarily dumb.

Looks like some people are working on a solution/new forum or something kinda fast...a lot of surprised Gaf posters seeing the site down today,gathered up on a forum I personnaly never heard of but it looks pretty good,there's a huge thread about it there...I'll post the link if its allowed.
gaf needs to stay dead, no matter what the form. It's demise is due primarily to its own failed values system.
