Hmmm I don't really like the look of this. Still hoping they give us a proper Conker game.

Yeah, don't like that either. Conker is a Drunk, not a meth head ;)
Seriously, that looks weaksauce.

Augmented Reality has tremendous potential in entertainment and business applications. I just don't know if it fits gaming all that well.

When VR and AR merge, is when it gets better than either single entity... maybe even better than both combined, IMO.

It's called um, "Young Conker".

They said that this is included with the dev kit. Not sure why all the fuss, really.

Pretty cool.....also a rumor today Cadillac is working on almost completely virtual dealerships. I wonder what they will use for that.

I'm sorry but Hololens, or just AR in general, is a million times more bad ass than VR. And the huge plus is that it doesn't shut out your real world.

I wonder if they can make it such that it would also transition to a VR mode for times you actually wanted that full-on experience.

As much as I love the HoloLens tech, I can't help but feel that Magic Leap will be the real deal, and everything I wanted from HoloLens. I've only got a few articles to go by, but from what they are allowed to say, it sounds like a much fuller FOV, no pixelation at all, and possibly a slimmer final form. Sure it's a startup, but it has huge investments from Google and AliBaba, not to mention both WETA and LucasFilm have jumped on board for content.

It seems to me, if Microsoft wants HoloLens to be part of it's digital entertainment division, they'd better be well into working on a 2nd gen, from the sound of it.

These Holo Lens vids over the years are weird. Sometimes the visuals show truly opaque visuals, but then sometimes it's transparent.

Is the gadget smart enough to display opaque pixels? Or will all visuals always be transparent to some effect?
