I implemented a new notices system. The old one was very basic and didn't offer many options. The new one is more robust. It's a minor upgrade but I think it will make UnionVGF more unique.

Edit: Be sure to "Dissmiss Notice" after you read one.

I think the new notifications should be for paying members only....

Ygrin:

This site is so far ahead of any forum i've ever been a part of. Can't say enough. Good work PV.

Putting that $50 donation in brought back good karma. I was like.. do i really want to spend this money? I'm not rich and i have things to buy. But i wanted to support the site the best i could. Then this past weekend i won $500 on a scratch ticket. :D

Glad to have you here, TDbank24 . I know we've bumped heads in the past, but none of that matters when it comes to supporting this great forum and you've definitely made your mark here positively.

I'm finding these a little annoying. I get a 5 second pop up and if I don't read it quick enough, I have to wait until it pops again.
Is there some where these notifications can be read? Also, can they pop once and give you a flag to say there is a notification pending?

Are you on mobile? I can increase the time it stays up also. Flags = no.

Yep. Nearly on a mobile exclusively. An increase in time would be good. I could then dismiss it more easily.
Is there way I can turn it off permanently?
