Yes you can get the free PS+ games.

If you're tight on money now and there's no games you want to play, I suggest selling it then waiting until this Christmas holiday or next year to get it again.
 
Congrats on the free PS4. How did you swing that?

PS+ will give you some half-decent games, but honestly, I think the quality of offerings has dropped a lot lately.

Any interest in indies? There are some good, cheap indies available (e.g., Resogun, Trine 2, Valliant Hearts, Flower).

There are some free-to-play games available. I haven't liked them much myself, but maybe you like generic shooters?

If money is so tight that you can't afford to buy a game, I'd consider selling it. It's only a games machine (I know, heresy).

It comes with two weeks free ps+ yes. Nothing great on there at the moment though. There are a few free to play titles you can download as well.

well there is the last of us remastered coming out in a few weeks which will be awesome, also the free ps plus games you can get. since money is a issue, you can download the free to play games like dc universe online, blacklight retribution, war thunder to play.

ive decided to keep it as if I sell it than I may never buy it and I don't want to miss out on some of the exclusives like I did with PS3. Money is tight but only for 3 months while my wife is on Maternity leave.

Infamous so far is visually impressive. The most impressive console game I've personally played.

well this makes ZERO sense, apparently there is no way to use the awesome PS3 media remote which is bluetooth on the PS4. they want you to use the DualShock4 controller. OR you can use a cheap 3rd party one for like 20 bucks but is VERY limited (you still have to turn it on and off with the DS4) they do have a licensed 3rd party one coming out but not till next year W T F :smash:! OH and to add while you CAN control a PS4 via your HDTV remote apparently MY 1 year old Samsung 39" LED does NOT support the feature that allows this :smash:.

and you can't use the Bluetooth headset that they had for PS3 on PS4. it's BS. It's like they know that will do a new headset and remote and will make you buy a new one. to control your PS4 with your TV you may have to turn that on in the PS4 and the TV itself.
 
as I said my tv does not support the ability to control PS4 via my TV remote I need something that is called CEC-HDMI or something similar for Samsung it is called Anynet+ and according to support my model tv does not have it. I then realized my PS3 is plugged into my Onkyo amp and it has HDMI switching and after a quick search I found out that while most of the high end Onkyo amps let you do what my TV cannot, my model Onkyo does not support that feature :smash::smash::smash:.

It is BS, but I really don't think it is a scam to sell you new hardware. If that were the case you'd think they would actually release some. I really just think they lack the manpower to get this stuff working, which would also explain the snails pace at which the OS is being updated with actual features.
 
Oh one more thing, I am so upgrading the PS4 HD to a 1 TB I saw the how too in an issue of game informer any suggestions on any particular make/model any features to look for. I plan on putting the former 500 gig in an enclosure for use on my laptop.

I have the Seagate 1TB SSHD Hybrid. Best performance/value.
 
Waiting on Bloodborne to jump in, already have money set aside. Hopefully the controllers have better battery life by early next year.

I have the same. I have no complaints about it. Glad i bought the 1 TB, its nice to not even have to think about space anytime soon. I stuck the 500 GB that was in my PS4 in my PS3, so it was like updating both.

Are games saves saved online? I had to set up a repair/exchange just now and no way am I going to play through The Last Of Us again
