Almost finished with the A part of the game. The Last Guardian just lost its spot as my GOTY, and I haven't even done B,C,D,E yet. This game is addicting as crack. Hot Asian women butt crack that is. If you enjoy fun games, and you are not worked up about OMFG GRAFIX 100000p 500fps, you need to enjoy this game. With 5 campaigns in one, the value for $60 is there. Can't wait to beat the final boss on A and then start B. I can't even go back to Horizon right now as this is that good.
Sounds good. I'll play it one day when all these games stop releasing. So probably never.
I am getting close to half way through the second campaign (B). I have NEVER played a campaign more than once.
So are the other campaigns pretty much New Game + type of deal or do cutscenes and other things change?
Yankee can probably explain it better. So the campaign in "B" so far seems the same, as in you are in the exact same world, going in the same directions. But you are a different character, using different powers (lots of hacking this time if you want), there seems to be MORE cut scenes, and the cut scenes (most, not all) are different. I am not a big side quest guy, so I don't know if those changed. I do just a couple here and there.
Not really a spoiler, but an example of how B starts out is similar to they way Rogue One ends and a New Hope starts. A different perspective with the same end.
If you finish A, and spend say at least an hour in B, that should be enough to tell you whether or not it is worth your time.
Route B has some new content. You play as the other character (9S) so when they weren't together during route A that is when it will be different. There are also some added cutscenes. There might (probably) be new side quests but you don't have to redo any from A
After that you get route C is pretty much part 2 of the game. It has no repeated content. It is also better then route A.
Playing the final boss fight of C (which can be picked through chapter select at this point) a second time gives you ending D and then one final gameplay section and then ending E which is the true ending.
There is also alternate endings F-Z which can then be got through various ways.
So A and B maybe something like Resident Evil 2 with overlapping campaigns of two different characters? Sounds like plenty of replay value for sure.
Maybe if you played Metal Gear Rising and the original Nier at the same time. Not sure if either is BC though.
Well s***, I didn't know Nier was on Xbox 360. I just looked at the BC list, and no luck
. I don't have a 360 anymore, of course.
I remember having the original Nier on my wishlist but never got around to it. Otherwise the Devil May Cry or Bayonetta series might be your best bet. At least DMC 4 and the new DmC are on the Xbox One/PS4. I think original DMC trilogy is only on last gen consoles.
Edit: As big of a fan as I am of PlatinumGames I haven't gotten to MGS Rising yet but just bought it on PS3 recently. Also bought the MGS Legacy collection and plan on playing through all of those first.

I am on campaign C now, which is a nice change up from A & B, just hacking right now. But I think once I finish C, I am taking a long break from this game. Still an awesome game, but I can only put so much time into a game. I need to get back to Gears 4 and Horizon ZD.
