I bought Trine 2 last year and I still havent played it LOL, I did play the demo on PS4 and it is fun. Maybe after Mario, Pikmin 3, Zelda WW HD, Zelda Link Between Worlds and more I can start that.

Super Mario Bros 3 will be released this week on eShop.

The NES platformer will be available on December 26 for Wii U and 3DS for £2.79 until January 2, when it will increase to £3.59.

Hopefully gets some more snes games as well, they do have a lot of games there that I would buy (I would buy the entire donkey kong series if they released it, not sure why they pulled it from the Wii shop,they had it there before).
 
Sounds good, but I read somewhere else that if your Nintendo ID is tied to the console? So if the console goes bust you lose all purchases?

Something like that. It's like the only complaint i have for the Wii U. If my console breaks, common sense says i want to be able to load my gamertag up on a new console and have all my purchases there. Apparently, the only way to do that is to send your console into Nintendo and they'll send you a refurb with your gamertag and games loaded on to it. Makes no sense.
 
Rumors that Minecraft are coming to Wii U:

A new rumor has been making the rounds about one of the biggest games from the seventh generation of gaming making its way to the eighth gen Wii U. That's right, 4J Studios' console adaptation of Mojang's Minecraft could be making its way to thecurrent eighth generation console leader, the Nintendo Wii U.

VG 24/7 picked up the news from Nintendo Enthusiast, where it was noted that someone close to the project revealed that the Wii U is currently in development and scheduled to release in mid 2014.

Media Create Hardware Sales: Wii U Sells +100,000 Units

It’s Christmas week and that means lots of last minute shopping. Whether intentionally or not, plenty of people had the same idea in Japan when they decided to gift their loved one a gaming console. According to the latest hardware charts from Media Create for December 16th to 22nd, sales are up across the board for each platform, with the 3DS XL leading with 164,078 units. That’s 30K more than the week prior.

But much more surprisingly, the Wii U – which sold 74,903 units the week before – managed to sell 109,113 units this week. This may perhaps be the most successful week for the console in…well, it’s been a while and it was enough to cement the console at second place.

That is pretty strong,not that I get my rocks off with sales numbers but if it helps WiiU get more 3rd party games I am all for it.

Damn so far not seeing any Wii U game sales popping up from Amazon or Best Buy. Was hoping to find Pikmin on sale. Looks like Wonderful 101 is $30 everywhere now. I do want the game but was going to wait a bit.

Hear ya, yet to see Lego City which I got or Pikmin 3 on sale.
 
Makes them hold their value :) not too mention it gives the game(s) longer legs at retail.

Those pics look really good. Smash may just be the game to make me buy the WiiU.
