Sometimes when I quote or edit a post the post flashes constantly until I save or post. It did it once yesterday(first time it ever happened on any site) and several times this morning.

?

Wouldn't have a clue. I don't know much on the windows side of things and I can't think of anything off hand that would cause it flash like that. Have you tried multiple browsers? Does the same thing on a phone or tablet?
 
Nothing I've ever come across. Even thought replying doesn't use Flash or Silverlight I'd make sure they're updated along with Java. Also, any type of AdBlock plug-in could be causing an issue.
 
Has anyone quoted and replied to a message, and the first letter you type ends up above the quote, and the rest below (and then you go back and delete the letter and put in the proper place)?

Usually that happens when replying too fast. You're not letting the reply box populate fully. It happens on mobile.

Yes! that's it. Yeah, I know I am replying too fast. It's my A.D.D. :)
 
Has not happened for a while now. Perhaps it was the sentient programs cutting the hardline.
