Excited. Heard so many good things from Persona 4 Golden but have yet to play any of the Persona series.

 
Never play this series before. Its exclusive I guess?!
 
Good news. Looks like Japanese devs are finally moving to cross-release mode, now we just need them to abandon the three.
 
Had to search to see if we had a thread on this game. Obviously a very low-hype game around here, but hey, us PS4 owners can use all the 2015 help we can get, so: Persona 5 confirmed for 2015 NA release.

Console wars, meh.

Here's the E3 trailer, for those who (like me) missed it. Weird and stylish and funny. I still have no idea what the game is like, but I enjoyed the trailer.

 
Oh do I dig the art style of the gameplay in P5. I don't like any anime, but, the actual gameplay art style in P5, looks awesome.
 
They're having some kind of Persona stage event at TGS 9/19, so maybe we'll hear more then.


"Atlus announced that they’ll have a “Persona Special Stage” event at this year’s Tokyo Game Show on September 19th from 2:30pm to 3:30pm JST.

"The stage event will feature some popular talents behind the Persona series like vocalist Yumi Kawamura, Lotus Juice, Shihoko Hirata, DJ WAKA and many others, who’ll be there to perform live music.

"Additionally, there will be a live talk show featuring Persona Stalker Club’s hosts Mafia Kajita and Tomomi Isomura. More details for the event will be announced in the near future."

Persona 5 has been delayed to Summer 2016 but they did reveal an awesome trailer:

 
I want a P4 port to ps4 too. I never got to try this series yet since I never had a ps3.
 
We have a release date for the east: Sept. 15, 2016. The game will appear at E3, so perhaps we'll get a Western release date then.

We have a US release date: Feb. 14th. I'm not sure about a Europe date yet.

Some info about special editions:

"We’re releasing Persona 5 in a special SteelBook® Launch Edition! All pre-orders and a very limited number of launch copies will come in an official, collectible SteelBook case, adorned with glorious Persona 5 art (identical to the one in the “Take Your Heart” Premium Edition). It’ll be $59.99 at launch! Exclusive to the PS4 version (it's also coming to PS3)."

There's a premium edition for $89. It comes with soundtrack, 64 page hardcover art book, school bag, steel book, and a 4" plush of the Persona 5 cat. The cat plush would be fun to have, and I bet that art book has some good stuff in it, I've never in my life bought a premium edition, and I doubt I'll start with a game series I've never played.



I like the Steelbook on the regular/launch edition, though. Might put down a preorder for that.
 
I can't wait for Persona 5 . It's coming out in Japan this year.

Deep Silver today reveal Persona 5, from the award-winning Persona Japanese role-playing game series developed by ATLUS, will launch in Europe and all PAL regions on February 14th 2017, for a simultaneous western launch.

Ketto where are you? You got me interested in this game, now you're nowhere to be seen.

I have never played a Persona game but looking forward to this one. Visually looks really good.
