I grew up an only child, but my parents were both from large familes (6 and 11) so I always liked the atmosphere when getting together with family, decided to start bringing back the large families lol

My wife's Granfather was one of 22 kids, needless to say that's a big family!

I'm doing what I always do for launch games. Buying a lot of them. DR3, Ryse, F5, CoD Ghosts, BF4, ACIV and Watch Dogs. I may even pick up Madden 25, but I'm still on the fence about that one.

yeah, im hopin they announce some deal for a free game, or im stuck buying 2 launch games: one an upgraded old gen (COD), and then Forza

What's the word on kinect launch titles? It seems like that might be the only place to get my more cartoony game hook for a nexgen xbox console.

Wat? MS's voice tech is ages ahead of everyone else's. Their neural networking models for it are incredibly impressive. Go troll elsewhere big guy.

Just give me BF4. Then I'll maybe get Forza or Fifa. I couldn't even find the time for more than that, even if the money didn't matter.

I plan on getting

BF4
CODG
Watch Dogs
DR3
NBA 2K14

Holding off on Madden until I see if it's worth double dipping.

If all goes according to plan, I'll be sportin'

FIFA 14
Dead Rising 3
BF4
Ryse
Forza or NFS

Madden 25 and Ryse for me. Project Spark and Forza a little down the road.

So many tough choices to make and I'll probably only get one at launch. Really torn between Lego Marvel, BF4, DR3, F5, and Madden.

I'll be getting Forza 5, Madden 25, FIFA 14, DR3, BF4, CoD: Ghosts and NBA 2K14. I'll maybe get some other launch games at a later date.

I personally couldn't get just the one game. I need multiple.

I am probably going with Froza 5 and Battlefield 4 - digital style. Those have always been day-one purchases for me, and together, should hold up for many months of entertainment. I think out of all the launch titles with numbers behind their names, Forza and Battlefield will do 'next gen' the most justice - at least out of the gate. I just see their engines being so much more prepared for it than something like COD or Madden. FIFA is intriguing but 2014 is a World Cup year so I expect a more polished WC entry from EA mid-summer. Of course I'll be picking up Killer Instinct and keeping tabs on Watch Dogs. Who knows...great reviews for watch dog could tip the scale in its favor although I am not sure its MP component, if it has one, will muster the same longevity as a BF or Forza.

Not sure of the importance in the thread title of "kind of for free"
Well, they are first party so it's technically "free" as far as cloud features go. Again, name and positioning of article is stupid.

...I don't care what companies have to pay for dedicated servers, just that they are used.
Well, it has been a barrier to companies deploying them in the past so cost is a factor. This is why it's so important that COD:G is supporting it out of the gate. Just signals that P2P on consoles is the "old" way of doing things and in many types of games, will generally be unacceptable moving forward. I'm supporting COD:G mainly for this reason...and I'm psyched to finally play a COD game after "1" on dedicated servers.

Online play is going to be sooo much better without cars jumping/ghosting about.
Yeah, you can never really entirely get rid of lag/latency but when it's reduced (less than 75ms) and no player host has an advantage, they can tone down the lag compensation that seems to have really made some online games hard to stomach at times.

The win is that all first-party devs can code with the assumption that it is there and "free" to them and 3rd party devs can do the same at what is being positioned as a "nominal" cost. That is the real power of the cloud no matter what they ultimately use it for.

Forza 5 is my only definite launch title so far. I just can't decide, but want one more for sure - Ryse, Watch Dogs, DR3... I just don't know. Hopefully we see a lot more footage, or even pre-launch reviews for these games.
